Casa Canarino E is a welcoming apartment surrounded by the vegetation. It sleeps six people. It is appoximately 75 square meters (810 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a shared garden, a reserved outdoor area and winter heating.
You will be roughly 1.5 km (one mile) from Montelopio . You will find the closest restaurant at 800 meters (880 yards) and a grocery store at 2 km (roughly 1.2 miles).
Casa Canarino E is located on the ground floor of an ancient farmhouse.
To stay at Casa Canarino E you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, in a fenced covered parking space.
The Canarino... Apartments belong to a tourist complex which is located on a hill in the Volterra area, in the Alta Valdera Park.
The complex is made up by a farmhouse, dating back to the nineteenth century, which has been divided into six apartments and an old barn which has been divided into two larger apartments.
The apartments, although renovated, preserve the old architectural features that were typical of the rural culture of the time.
The apartments are surrounded by a 7000 sqm large green area, rich in olive trees and oleanders, where you will find a bocce court, a ping pong table, a kids' playground and a swimming pool.
A shared room, where you will find an old wood-burning fireplace, is available in the complex. Here you will be able to relax while reading a book, or watching TV or just chatting with the other guests staying at the complex.
In the complex you will also find an old cellar where you could taste some typical products that are locally made: wine, olive oil, honey, jams, etc... They are also on sale, should you wish to purchase any of them.
On request, it is possible to organize dinners where you will have the possibility to taste the traditional local dishes.
The swimming pool is 8 meters (26 feet) large by 20 meters (65 feet) long, from 80 centimeters (2.6 feet) to 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) deep. It has a whirlpool corner. The swimming pool area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. It is partly shaded by olive trees. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a fascinating view of the Tuscan countryside and of the hills. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. It is open from the beginning of May until the beginning of October.
The garden is 6000 square meters (65000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by olive trees. It is equipped with a table and chairs. In the garden you will find a children's playgrounds. Here you will be able to have fun with a ping pong table. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a pleasant view of the Tuscan countryside. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex, and there will be an area reserved for your exclusive use.
The ceiling of the living room has characteristic exposed wood beams and terraccotta tiles. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate six guests.
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The ceiling boasts a brick circular vault. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested. The room has a window with a view of the countryside. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower.
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room through an access area. The ceiling boasts a brick circular vault. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the vegetation.
