Description

This ground floor condo is in a 13 unit beachfront complex just south of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye -- the Belize Barrier Reef is only ½ mile (1 km) away and you can see the waves crashing over it from the resort. What a view!

The first thing to note about this one bedroom/one bath condo is the covered porch, which has a fabulous view overlooking the pool and the sea.

You enter the condo into the spacious living/dining area. You’ll find comfortable chairs and a couch (which converts to a queen sleeper sofa) as well as dining seating for four both at the table and the counter. Just beyond is the fully equipped kitchen, a little farther is the full bath (with glass tiled shower), and then the bedroom with queen bed.

Getting around

Most people rent golf carts when visiting Ambergris Caye (it’s not possible to rent a car). Our concierge team can arrange your golf cart rental and have it waiting for you at Sunset Beach on your arrival if you wish. Rental costs depend on the cart size and time of year but start at about US$275/week. As mentioned, there are also complimentary bikes & kayaks available at the resort. It’s about a 10-15 minute bike ride into town. It’s also possible to walk to town, either via the beach (40 minutes to an hour, depending on how fast you walk) or via the road (slightly longer). Taxis are also available.

Interaction with guest

Once booked, I’ll send you a website link with further information on the condos, the resort, and the area. And of course I’m happy to answer any questions at all via email or phone! In addition, we can help with island flights, golf cart bookings, tours, etc, plus of course while you are there our on site staff can help with any questions or issues that may arise.

With the beach situation, I think you may be referring to swimming right at the beach, where there is a lot of turtle grass growing in the water--this is not supposed to be removed in Ambergris Caye as it's what helps feed the amazing sea life (which we love to see while snorkeling & diving!). Many people enjoy using the lounge chairs on our beach and swimming from the ladder on our pier. And yes, the Sargasso seaweed situation has been Caribbean-wide for the past few months but it has not diminished the fabulous opportunities on the reef or the laid back atmosphere on the island, huge highlights for coming to Ambergris Caye! Thank you again and glad to see that you'd return to stay with us; we'd love to have you back anytime!
