Riverton Bed and Breakfast, New Zealand. The newest B&B in town. Wonderful location, with views from the Pacific Ocean to the snow clad mountains of Fiordland.

Well appointed, two rooms with ensuite bathrooms (RiverView Room is US$100 per night including breakfast,same rate all year. Our Seaview suite is US $111 per night all year, including breakfast and a SUPER KING BED), warm cozy beds, TV, Tea and Coffee making, FREE BOTTLE OF NEW ZEALAND WINE in the Refrigerator, lots of yummy nibbles, and BREAKFASTS to live for, whilst watching the Tui and Bell birds dining at the window. We have been hosting guests for 23 years, have travelled extensively, and love learning and chatting with guests. We have sound knowledge of our Country and enjoy helping guests with their travels.

Riverton is a small fishing village, the 2nd oldest town in our Country. It is well situated, close to Stewart Island, TeAnau, Manapouri, Queenstown, The Catlins, or just stay in the area, which abounds with wonderful bush and beach walks, tramps, fishing, golfing, (clubs available) eating, or just sit back and relax listening to the birds and watching the tides change. A visit to our wonderful museum is a must, "Te Hikoi, the Southern Journey" is an award winning special place to visit.

To have a family gathering was such fun, especially as all your children are so lovely. I am so happy the birthday cake I made was so good also. It is such a lovely area to come to with all the views and the water around us. It is a very special and magical place. We feel privileged to live here in the deep south of New Zealand. It was so exciting having you all here and to hear about all the weddings, maybe we could become "The Wedding Venue" of the South, at the Riverton Riviera, and how good was our weather? it was great to see all the Australians too hot. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Gay (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
