Welcome to 'Guarda Mare', the fully renovated (2011) typical 185 m2 natural stone house with a spectacular pool view (8m x 4m x 1.4m) above the entire level of Maremma on Monte Agententario and the island of Giglio. 8 people and 2 small children find space in 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Around the house is a private park with 20000 m2 with Pines, Oleander, Rosmarin and cypresses. Ideal starting point for historic and culinary attractions of Tuscany. During the summer, due to the elevation of over 550m, it is about 5 degrees Celsius more comfortable than the level of the Maremma. Romantic retreat. The directly nearby (1.2 km) medieval city of Roccatederighi allows for care through bakeries, butchers, different retail shops and supermarkets. 5 restaurants offer typical Cucina Maremmana.

House rules
Don't make any changes at heating system, Sat TV, Please dispose of the garbage regularly. For the remaining waste in the house we have a disposal fee charge. Please Note (Please also think oven, refrigerator and dishwasher) you, unless you leave the house broom clean, we must be clean off the house for you. The cost is per default 75 EUR. Please help in avoiding the complications.

Response from the owner Schön, dass unsere Villa wieder so gut gefalllen hat. Villen in der Toskana sind meist etwas einsamer gelegen. Wenn man einen privaten Pool und ein grosses privates Grundstück haben möchte, muss man dies einfach meistens in Kauf nehmen. Villa Guarda Mare ist aber gerade hingegen auf einem geteerten Weg nur 300m von der ins Dorf führenden Strasse entfernt. Es sind nur 800m zu einem mittelalterlichen Dorf (Roccatederighi) mit perfekter Infrastruktur. Eine absolute Ausnahmelage und das mit Panoramasicht auf Meer und Dorf, wie ja dann auch erkannt wurde. Schön finden wir auch, dass auch der bei Anreise "sehr" gute Zustand der Villa Gefallen fand. Es wird dann sicherlich bei Abreise aufgefallen sein, dass anschliessend ein Zimmer zu renovieren war. Bewertungen eines Ferienhauses sollten vielleicht im Interesse von Eigentümern, die ihr geliebtes, mit viel Liebe und Aufwand unterhaltenes Zuhause Gästen anvertrauen, in Zukunft zeitnah nach der Anreise vorgenommen werden, da sich der Zustand während des Aufenthaltes von "Gästen" auch verschlechtern kann.

Wir waren wirklich wieder richtig traurig, da wir selbst bis zu Eurer Ankunft in der Villa Guarda Mare waren und eigentlich nicht gehen wollten. Freuen uns jetzt schon auf den Herbst. Es gibt nicht viele Orte wie diesen. Geniest es! Ihr seid ganz liebe Gäste!

“Wonderful”
A wonderful villa in a beautiful environment. We stayed here for 2 weeks and were delighted. It is close to a very beautiful little village and has a stunning view over the tuscany mountains.
