Enjoy the Finger Lakes Region and beautiful Seneca Lake from this lovely cottage located eight miles south of Geneva on the east shore. We are truly one of the finest Finger Lakes vacation rentals.

We have great swimming, boating, fishing, water sports, sun, and absolutely gorgeous sunsets, all on lovely private lake frontage. We are ideally located in the... heart of New York State's Finger Lakes, just minutes away from the best Finger Lake's attractions, restaurants, and wineries.

Our cottage has kitchen with glass-top stove, refrigerator and microwave; bath with shower; living room with cable HDTV, internet, Blu-ray player,streaming Netflix, DVD's, stereo radio, lots of books and games, a lovely stone fireplace, a woodstove, and propane furnace. The master bedroom has two twin beds which are convertible to a king using our professional twin to king conversion kit. The second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and a VHS, DVD TV player with lots of old children's VHS tapes. One of the bunks is twin over twin and the other is twin over double.

The cottage has a lovely roofed patio on the lakeside with outdoor fireplace, propane grill, adirondack chairs, lawn chairs, lounges, and picnic table. There is a front and back yard, a deck, six stairs to lake level, a dock, and a swim float. The lake depth is about two feet off the dock and very gradually deepens as you go out. The depth at the swim float is about five feet. An electric boat hoist is also available.

The cottage is completely furnished including dishes, silverware, coffee maker, pots and pans, etc. Just bring your sheets, towels and pillowcases. We are well off the road and have plenty of parking.

If you are fishing enthusiasts like we are, you will find some of the best fishing in the state on Seneca Lake. We catch perch and sunfish, right off the dock. If you have a boat, we will show you how to catch the beautiful abundant Seneca Lake lake trout as well as the landlocked salmon, rainbows and browns. Boat rentals are just five minutes away.

This vacation property owner is a United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain and is offering renters special rates on fishing charters in his fully equipped boat. Special rates are $99 per person for half-day fishing, see http://fishsenecalake.com

We have written and assembled a “Welcome” book for our guests. It presents all of the information on the cottage and the area, including directions to the restaurants, wineries, attractions, bait stores, grocery stores, shopping areas, and more.

  ...because we ended a two week vacation in the finger lakes. We wanted to be centrally located to the wineries and to be honest, for the price of the rental, it was nice to have a "home of our own" after spending the last two weeks in hotel rooms.
  
  I contacted Joe via email and in no time he called me regarding the rental. My husband was a little uneasy with sending a $200 deposit because he didn't trust that the rental and Joe actually existed but we took Joe on good faith and he came through!
  
  When we arrived, Joe met us and gave us a tour of the house. It was very clean and organized. The cottage had everything we could have wanted. We wanted to sleep in a king sized bed and Joe had a twin to king converter which was acceptable - not the most comfortable but we slept well.
  
  We didn't get to use the grill and the lake but I imagine it would have been very nice. The cabin is centrally located to everything and it has a lovely view of the lake.
  
  My only main criticism is that I dont know if i would have felt comfortable staying here if it were not just my husband and me. There are 2 bedrooms, one with 2 twins/king and the back room with bunk beds. In order to get to the bunk bed room, you have to walk through the main bedroom and the main bedroom is completely open to the living quarters. Like I said, we were comfortable though.
  
  Lastly, if you haven't ever rented a cottage or house for vacation, know that there is usually a long list of things to clean before you leave and the last day there is usually spent cleaning in order to get your security back. That's to ensure the rental is ready for the next renter. This rental is the same.
  
  We would definitely stay here again should we find ourselves back at the Finger Lakes.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Very clean with beautiful view of the lake. Convenient to lots of wineries and state parks. Joe is very friendly and nice to work with.

  From the time we arrived to the time we left Joe was more than helpful. We were greeted @ the door with an uplifting welcome, treated tremendously during our stay, & departed with a encouraging welcome back. The cottage was nothing less than wonderful. Very clean, but very comfortable. This location is great, very close to town but private enough to relax & enjoy. We really enjoyed the personalized service Joe offers. The day of fishing with Joe on our boat was priceless. Thanks again Joe
