Description

Perched atop a hill overlooking Veitch Creek, our charming guesthouse awaits you. Relax on our wrap around porch or enjoy the sun on yourvprivate section of deck, surrounded by wildlife, birds and evergreen trees.

Inside yoiu will find comfy beds, quilts, original artwork and vaulted ceilings. A continental breakfast basket is available for an additional 15 per person per day, or you can bring supplies for a self-catering breakfast. There is an eating area on the mezzanine adjascent to your room and outdoor eating spaces for takeaway or picnic meals. There are no cooking facilities except to warm breakfast in microwave.

We are close to many outdoor parks for adventures including hiking, kayaking, ziplining, swimming and cycling. We are 10 mins from the town of Sooke, on the border of Metchosin and just a twenty-five min drive from Victoria.

Nearby beaches include Matheson Lake, the Sooke Potholes, Witty's Lagoon and East Sooke Park. So come relax with us and take home happy memories of your vacation on Vancouver Island's beautiful West Coast.

This is the master suite, with queen size brass bed and private bathroom with large soaker tub and separate walk-in glass shower. We do not have cable TV in the room except a small screen/VCR and a selection of classic tapes to enjoy. We also have free wifi available.

Gayle was very nice and had a comfy, clean space. She gave us some local tips and scones and coffee for breakfast.
