It was definitely great staying at this lodge. It was spacious and clean with a working hot tub (even in the winter) and a number of working gas fireplaces. Owner is a great guy and accommodated our needs. One thing to note- if you have small children, avoid having them sleep downstairs since they'll hear every sound from the second floor. Plus never figured out how to get the TV, DVD system to work. No biggie since we'd rather ski. 3 car garage in case multiple cars or families.

Our family of 6 adults and 3 toddlers enjoyed every moment of our stay in this lovely and spacious South Lake Tahoe home. We were in a quiet neighborhood but close to all of the areas top mountain and lake attractions. The evenings were so cool that we enjoyed the fireplaces and the hottub on the back deck many times! We would go back tomorrow if work and time permitted. Thank you Fred for providing such a beautiful home for us to rent for a week! We will be back!

We were 4 couples and 2 friends so in total 10 people. The house was very beautiful and very well equipped. It was 10 mins drive to the lake tahoe city. We had lots of fun with the pool table, hot tub and BBQ grill. It is located between many houses but had no problems having late night party. We would highly recommend this house.

I have stayed at the Blackfoot Lodge four times - both in the summer and early fall and I have absolutely loved my experience staying here. The house was always very clean and is very beautiful. Everything works really well and the furniture is extemely comfortable. I love this place!
