Description

Hillcrest Cottage has been recently refurbished to a high standard and offers a fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining room with wood-burning stove, two tastefully decorated bedrooms and a modern family bathroom with bath and electric shower. All bed linen and towels supplied. The lounge has french doors leading to a good-sized garden with large patio area with seating for four. A secure cellar is available for guests to store bikes and other sports equipment. Parking is available on the street outside.

The Cottage is ideally situated within a short walk of Aberfoyle village centre where you will find a wide variety of amenities including pubs, bank, post office, a well stocked co-op store and an excellent tourist information centre.

Aberfoyle is situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and offers a wide range of activities for all the family. Go Ape and the visitor centre, located in Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, are within walking distance. The Queen Elizabeth Forest Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the elusive red squirrel.

Water sports are available in nearby Kinlochard and Loch Katrine offers boat rides on the world renowned SS Sir Walter Scott. Aberfoyle Golf Club is nearby and welcomes visitors. Aberfoyle is an ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing and bird watching.

Great cottage in a good area for exploring the Trossachs. Cottage has been refurbished to a high standard with everything you need for a good holiday. View from the lounge and patio is fabulous with a great sitting out area. Kitchen is well equipped for self catering. Charles the owner responds immediately to any queries. Overall a great choice for a small party

“Perfect cosy cottage”

We have just returned from a week stay in Hillcrest Cottage and I have to say that from the moment we walked in the door we were very happy with all aspects of the place. The cottage has been furnished and maintained to a high standard, it’s more like a home from home only a smaller version. I can’t speak any more highly about this place. We will certainly be recommending this to our family and friends and hopefully we will return ourselves in the near future. Thanks again for a lovely holiday (regardless of the weather). My family and I had an amazing time here at Hillcrest Cottage. The cottage itself has everything you need. The wood burning fire made our stay extra cosy. The cottage is very near to a supermarket, coffee shops and lots of walks. I would definitely book this again and will be recommending it to all my family and friends. How do damage deposits work?
