Apartment is on the ground floor of the House São Bernardo in Alcobaça.
House São Bernardo is a two storey building situated in an area of 5000 meters, at 80 meters above the sea, an area of privilege, the rural environment, quiet and peaceful with panoramic views over the city Alcobaça and Sierra D’Aire e Candeeiros.
House São Bernardo is located 400 meters from the historic center and the Monastery of Alcobaça (World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal). The House has parking and to visit the center of the city does not need a car.
House São Bernardo has an abundance of natural light.
Apartment SB0-1 – with 50m2 (see the plan):
• one living room with single sofa-beds;
• double bed (150 cm * 200 cm)-can have 2 extra bed;
• a bathroom with shower;
• a kitchenet equipped and dining areas;
• terrace,
and shared spaces: grill, garden, parking and washing machine
In addition to enjoying nature where the House São Bernardo is located, it is also the starting point for exploring the area on foot - the Monastery of Alcobaça, founded in 1178, the Vocational School of Agriculture and Rural Development Rural of Cister (32-acre with Educational Farm, Apple Orchards of Alcobaça and Equestrian Area), the Municipal Library and more generally all the urban and commercial city. And also on foot, you can visit the natural heritage of the Vale da Ribeira do Mogo - very narrow valleys, and karst morphology with typical Mediterranean vegetation.
House San Bernardo is also the logistical support base for tours from 1 day, in the religious, cultural, historical, architectural and entertainment aspect:
• Tour of Museums - Museum of Glass, Ceramics Museum, the Museum Monographic Bárrio, Agricultural Museum and Wine Museum;
• Circuit of the Wonders of Portugal - Monastery of Alcobaça, Óbidos Castle, Pena Palace in Sintra and Jeronimos Monastery and Belem Tower in Lisbon;
• Religious Tour - Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima - the latter being one of the most visited places of faith of the whole Catholic world that hosts more than 2 milions of pilgrims each year;
