This stylish and comfortable Victorian cottage is located just a ten minute walk to Aldeburgh beach, boutique shops and superb restaurants. This holiday home has an open plan living/dining area with a cozy fire place, King-size bedroom and a single bedroom making it an ideal base to explore the Suffolk heritage coast.

Good facilities. Convenient location with two mini supermarkets within 5 minute walk. Easy walk to town and beach. Garden is a good asset. Wifi useful. Poor TV. Cleaning could be more thorough.

I'm disappointed that you felt your stay was not good value for money as we had already moved your stay free of charge from 2017 even though bookings are non-transferable. Had you made us aware of these issues during your stay these would of course been rectified immediately. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
