Our wonderful three-bedroom rental property is located in Jardin 11 on the luxury Condado de Alhama Golf resort – on Jardins 11. The large communal gardens are well maintained; as is the good sized communal pool both being attractively well lit at night. In the evening the gardens and pool are illuminated. There are over twenty gardens and pools within the secure gated community which has private security patrols for peace of mind if your little ones want to play outside and explore. There are also has safe cycleway around and bike hire available on the resort at various outlets at very reasonable rates

This nicely furnished air conditioned ground floor apartment has a terrace off the master bedroom, a twin and a single bedroom, an open plan lounge and dining area with cable TV, 100Mb Wi-Fi included and a fully equipped kitchen. The large hedge enclosed patio and garden to the front is ideal for al fresco dining and entertaining.

The apartment is ideally located about a ten-minute stroll away from the town centre of Al Kasar with a large well priced supermarket, hairdressers, cashpoints and a good variety of bars and restaurants.

A short walk away is the Condado Sports club situated between Jardin 5&7 where there is tennis, paddle, basketball and 5 aside courts and its own bar and restaurant.

The sport facilities at the Condado Club offer the residents and visitors to Condado de Alhama a selection of 2 tennis courts and 6 Paddle courts. The courts are all floodlit and offer both daytime and night time playing.

Also within the resort is the Jack Nicklaus personally designed Alhama signature Par 72, 6884m championship golf course with fantastic practice facilities, a driving range, clubhouse with pro shop, buggy and club hire and its own snack bar with wonderful views to the surrounding mountains.

The Murcia region

The Costa Calida means Warm Coast and comprises over 250 kilometres of Mediterranean coastline located in the province of Murcia with heavenly beaches of endless white sand, lively ports and wild coves with crystal clear water, more than 3,000 hours of sunshine per year and mild temperatures even in winter with a yearly average of more than 20ºC.

There is an abundance of excellent restaurants to sample the fine Murcian cuisine. The local diet is big on rice, fruit, vegetables and pulses as well as seafood and white meats. The area is known as la Huerta, Spain’s market garden. Wheat, olives and vines produce the finest bread, olives and wine. There are fig and almond trees galore and orange, lemon and olive groves everywhere.

The city of Alhama de Murcia is just a short drive away. Al-hama, meaning hot springs in Arabic. The most interesting corner of Alhama is in Plaza Vieja, at the foot of the ruined castle, which was originally a watchtower built by the Moors. Try visiting the interesting Los Baños archaeological centre, with its Arabic hot baths, located opposite the church of San Lázaro. At Alhama you will find the gateway to the Sierra Espuña Nature Park where you can enjoy fabulous walks, rock climbing and cycling. The more adventurous may like to try horse riding or paragliding.

The blue flag beaches of Bolnuevo, Perchelles and La Azohia are approximately a 25-minute drive, and the seaside town of Puerto de Mazarrón, with its marina, beaches, bars and restaurants is only 25 minutes away. There is also a large retail shopping park here with all the major supermarkets in one place including Mercadona, Lidl, Aldi and even Tesco trading as the Food Co.

“Family Holiday”

I recently stayed at his apartment with my husband and son who is 1 years old. This was perfect for us as it was like being home from home with such a young child. The apartment was great and very well equipt with all of the mod cons needed. I have stayed at the Condado before and much prefer the size of the Jardin and the location of the apartment as it is in close proximity to the Al Kasar with the bars and restaurants which roughly takes under 10 minutes to walk. The owner provided excellent customer service prior to our stay and also whilst we was away. Highly recommended and look forward to returning next year.

“Fantastic holiday in a lovely apartment”

We are an elderly couple and found this apartment brilliant to stay in, it is on the ground floor which meant no climbing stairs. Maurice is extremely nice to deal with he organised a taxi pick up for us as we weren't driving ourselves, and on arrival there was a complimentary breakfast pack as we arrived late with no shops open we really appreciated this. There is a trolley for carrying your messages from the shops which is great as we had no car and although the shop is not far away it was great to save us carrying bags. We were able to watch the soaps in the evening because they have a box with all the English tv channels on it. I have to say we found the apartment spacious and beautifully decorated with everything you need for a great stay. I can’t recommend staying here highly enough. Thanks Maurice for all your help.
