Large, contemporary, ground floor apartment. Sleeps 4, in exclusive development .
The SOL RIO development built in 2011 is situated in a quiet but convenient location. The many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops are a short stroll away and the new supermarket is a 5 minute walk. The pool and gardens are peaceful and private with stunning views.
This air conditioned apartment includes one large bedroom (which can be configured as one double bed or two singles) with ample storage space. There is a private terrace from the bedroom.
The spacious open plan living area includes a very comfortable double sofa bed, and dining area. There is a television, blu-Ray DVD player, unlimited Wi-Fi and Ipod docking station.
The modern fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, hob and oven allowing easy self catering and the large terrace is ideal for dining al fresco or just enjoying the sunset.
The fully tiled, good size bathroom includes bath with shower over, basin (with storage under), toilet and bidet.
The apartment provides everything needed for a relaxing stay in a perfect location.
There is superb outdoor furniture on the private terrace and reserved sunbeds beside the pool, which can be accessed directly from the terrace.
There is underground parking and the development has secured entry.

“Amazing 5* apartment”
This is our second visit to the Solrio, but our first using this apartment. The location of the apartments are amazing (just over the road is a brilliant supermarket and I would say maybe around a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Alvor Village itself). The apartment itself was amazing and the grounds and swimming pool outside the apartments are amazing also. I suppose all in all amazing! We visited with our aged 4 and 8 year old boys and were a bit worried that we would be tight for space. This was not the case. The apartment is huge inside. There is a massive outside terrace at the back with table and 4 chairs and two sun loungers and an umbrella. There were two single beds in the main bedroom with a double sofa bed in the livingroom. Plenty of cupboard and drawer space also. Not once did we feel that we were on top of each other. With the apartment being on the ground floor, it gave our oldest boy a bit of independence. He could go to the toilet/get a drink whilst we were at the swimming pool without the need for us to keep having to get up and take him. With the security gates, shutters etc. it also allowed us to feel happy about allowing him to do this (you cannot access the grounds/building unless you have a key/security code). We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough and look forward to visiting again in April and July 2019.
