“Many thanks! We had a wonderfull holiday.” Wow what a stunning apartment in a beautiful part of Portugal. This is actually my third time staying here and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Carvoeiro It has excellent facilities, over looks the golf course which gives the location a tranquil feel and close enough to the town to make the most of the nightlife. Great apartment for an extra special holiday.

“Amazing location!” My family and I have stayed in this villa several times; we love it so much. It's a perfect size, and tastefully decorated. The beautiful beach is only a few minutes walk away, along with the pool, bars, restaurants and kids club. The restaurants in the Praca can be a bit pricey, but still worth a visit for sardines or chicken piri piri. The local supermarket in almancil is excellent, and there is nothing better than having a BBQ on the roof terrace watching the sun set over the sea.

SAND, SEA & SURF

FAMILY TIME

Keeping children entertained is a breeze in the Faro District. On a hot day, head to one of the many fantastic water parks in the region, such as the Aquashow park in Quarteira. If you love marine mammals, visit the Zoomarine park in Guia where you can swim with dolphins and get up close to seals, sea lions and tropical birds. For a wheelchair and pushchair-friendly day out, visit Alvor boardwalk: the pristine beaches, abundant birdlife and excellent facilities make it an ideal choice.

A well situated apartment in a friendly fishing village close to Tavira. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well maintained with every piece of equipment a guest would require for a very comfortable stay. A Beautiful Well Equipped Ocean Front Villa

Seldom is a rental property better than it appears on-line. The Villa de la Plage looked wonderful in the listing photographs and was actually even better than we had expected when we arrived. We were 4 couples wanting a private villa with beach access, ocean views, a pool and walking distance to shops and restaurants. This property met these requirements. Pros: Location: Ideal ocean front location with direct access to a beautiful huge beach. In a quiet area yet an easy 1 km walk to the excitement of Albufiera's old and new towns. A small store and beach front restaurant were conveniently a very short walk way. Very well equipped: The kitchen facilities were modern and easy to use. A coffee and an expresso maker were a plus in the mornings. Comprehensive kitchen cutlery, plates, glasses, cookware, etc. and a barbeque. Laundry facilities lacked a clothes drier but in this climate, everything dried quickly on the provided drying rack without wasting electricity. WiFi access was excellent. Clean, modern and large washrooms. Management: The meet and greet staff were efficient and we were surprised to have three housekeeping visits during our two week stay. And a first for us was an email from the owner mid-stay to ask us if everything was ok which it was. We had a delicious dinner prepared for us one night by a nice lady, Regina, who the owner had recommended. Cons: None of any significance. No easy way to recycled empty bottles, although we found that if we separated them from trash a local entrepreneur seemed to make them disappear. Mosquitoes at night were unexpected. We have rented villas in Italy, Spain and France in the past, and Villa de la Plage is at the top of our list based on location, facilities and overall quality. … see more
