Description
The mature Prainha resort lies just outside Alvor, a fishing village, with many restaurants & bars. Apartments are limited to 2 storeys, separated by cobbled alleyways, squares and well-tended lawns. There is free parking nearby. Property is on the upper floor with a twin bedroom (with air conditioning), a spacious living/dining room with 2 large sofas, a bathroom and a new, well-equipped kitchen. The large, private roof terrace overlooks the sea and catches the sun all day long. The beach is a few mins walk away. The sandy beaches sweep round to below Prainha where high cliffs give spectacular views. A lift for residents allows travel down to the beach and the Canico restaurant & bar (one of 4 on site) which overlooks the beach. There is a cliff top pool with a bar and restaurant, hotel pool with bar and restaurant, a pasta/pizza restaurant and supermarket on site. The hotel has a newly refurbished health & beauty spa. The hotel can arrange activities such as golf at nearby courses, tennis on site, or cycle & car hire. The property has unlimited high speed fibre WiFi. The smart TV has a European TV App so there are UK, Irish, German, French, Portuguese and Spanish TV channels available. There is a laptop pc for guests' use with MS Office. We supply 2 beach towels to save on your packing.

“Holiday”
We stayed in apartment for 18 nights and met all our needs, lovely view, roof terrace, spacious, comfy beds, quiet, sunny and pleasant- would definitely recommend and would book again

Response from the owner Hi Patricia, thank you for your comments and in future all our guests will get a Prainha parking permit that will allow them to park without restriction, in the private area, just a few more yards away. The parking has only been changed this summer with one side of the beach road being closed for parking. This beach road is a narrow public road that runs through the private Prainha complex. The parking restrictions were put into place after our last visit in May and we were unaware of this until you raised the issue but we can reassure you the permit will avoid this in future. We are pleased that you say you all enjoyed your holiday in our apartment and found it very comfortable. Best wishes Sue & Ian
