It is built of half timbers and is remarkable for being Iight and sunny with high ceilings, having 6 fireplaces in the principal rooms, which are in working order and cleaned annually. There is a supply of wood in the kitchen house available for your use. As the house has been recently decorated in soft blue grey and white in the downstairs, with orientals and antiques, family pieces, it is at once comfortable and inviting. The kitchen is new and has in it a fine dishwasher. The cupboards in the kitchen and dining room which is adjoining contain various sets of dishes and silver, tablecloths and placemates all of which are available for your use. A roman cart path circles the hill and is only across the way. It is an ideal location for hiking, biking, tennis (there is a tennis club a few minutes away), horseback riding, and golf. As it is not far from the coast, one can easily spend the day in Deauville, Trouville, Carbourg, Honfleur, or the Normandy beaches.
