Description

Nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Vale Cordeiro, approx 3 kilometets from the bustling town of Arganil. This property is ideal for families wishing for a holiday home offering privacy due to it's location and secure walled perimeter.

***The house is not suitable for those wishing to have a noisy or music filled party holiday partiularly at night, when the neighbours expect reasonable peace and quite after 10pm. ***

The house/villa is unusual and quirky in it's layout with 3 self contained bedrooms each with en suite facilities accessed from the main courtyard. The kitchen/ dining area is also accessed from the courtyard offering full facilities that include : Fitted hardwood cupboards, 4 ring gas cooker with oven, fridge with large ice box, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, juicer and microwave. There is a full dining suite to seat 8 persons and a smaller table and chairs for snacks etc. Upstairs above the kitchen there are a further 2 bedrooms with a "Jack and Jill" bathroom which has a full size bath. Across from this there is a sitting room from which you can gain access to the large balcony with extensive views over the valley. Access to the pool area is from either the courtyard or the upper balcony with its outdoor seating and pool loungers , complete with shower and bar-b-que. The property is enclosed and therefore offers a extra level of security and safety, however extreme caution should be exercised at all times, particularly regarding children due to the pool area.

Getting around

A car is almost essential, although there is a good taxi service from Arganil 3 Km away, and very reasonably priced. There is a bus service that passes by the end of the laneway 100 meters, though not very frequent, morning and evening.

Interaction with guest

Although i am around quite a lot, there are times i am not available. However i will be on hand to greet guests and help them with any issues that may arise. I or my colleague will visit the property during your stay to service and clean the pool when needed.

House rules

while there are no strict house rules, potential guests should note that this is a quite rural area and that excessive noise or boisterous behaviour after a reasonable hour (11.00pm) might upset the neighbours . While the house is a no smoking zone there are plenty of outside areas in which one may smoke if they wish i.e. upstairs veranda, pool area and courtyard.
