“Another wonderful stay” We so enjoyed our first stay in Jenny's lovely apartment that we returned for a second holiday. Once again, we had a fantastic mix of activity and relaxation. The apartment offers what has to be one of the world's best views yet it provides peaceful surroundings for a restful time. With the city only 9 minutes away by ferry, we were also able to enjoy the buzz and activity it has to offer. We will definitely be returning for a third time. Thank you Jenny.

“Beautiful property that we would have loved to stay longer at.” Immaculate property with everything you would need and more for a short or long stay. We stayed with another couple for 2 nights in December to go to a Day on the Green concert at The Hill Winery. Perfect location and we wished we could stay a few more nights, have a better look around the fab Geelong and make better use of the place, including the great BBQ area. Lovely 'resident' magpie made our day coming to visit and have a bath in the fountain every morning too! Thanks Helen, this is truly a beautiful property and we will be back :)

“Relaxing stay in Sydney” The apartment was clean and well equipped with all kitchen utensils, bath towels, sheets etc. what I needed in every day life during my stay. There were some problems with cable tv, but it was fixed right after I mentioned it. Bathroom was a little bit old, but everything was working anyway. I really enjoyed the heated pool on the roof, it brought some luxus to my stay. The location was perfect (Manly beach and access to ferries to the city really near)and it was easy to use both buses and ferries. The owner gave good advices for sightseeing and there were many travel guides, ferry timetables etc. in the apartment. It was very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and absolutely recommend the place!

“Awesome !!!” This has to be one of the best apartments in Sydney, The view is amazing, the location excellent, the premium quality of the apartment and little extras provided made our stay truly 5 star. The Sydney skyline views from the apartment are truly breathtaking, we also managed to watch the amazing fireworks from the balcony on the Saturday night. The location is central to everything. Darling harbour is a lovely place to hang out, explore, and has plenty to do, its within walking distance of the City Centre, Harbour Bridge & opera house, and with many lovely restaurants on the doorstep its the perfect place to stay. Would love to return if we get to visit Sydney again.

About Australia

Wild and wonderful Australia is world famous for beautiful beaches, stunning coral reefs, a vast outback, and endless deserts. The only country that is also a continent, Australia is a massive place of diverse landscapes and ecosystems. Most famously, Australia is the original home of kangaroos, wallabies, and koala bears. It is also the site of some of the world's largest reefs, tallest waterfalls, and most diverse marine life, including dolphins, nurse sharks, and jelly fish.

For adventure, Australia is a great choice. Here, you can swim with tropical fish along the western shore in Ningaloo, rent a jeep for an off-road adventure in the bush, or set sail off the coast of Victoria. If you're looking for more laid-back activities, you can enjoy Australia by simply soaking up the rays of the Southern hemisphere on one of the country's spectacular beaches.

While the wildlife in Australia is the country's greatest attraction, the cultural side of Australia is definitely worth exploring too. As many visitors will tell you, most Australian cities are modern, cool, and congenial, with great food, a buzzing nightlife, and friendly people. In fact, Australia is famous for the goodwill of its people and their happy greeting, "G'day!"

Here are a few of the must-see attractions and destinations of Australia:

  • The Great Barrier Reef: The world's largest reef is located just off the Queensland Coast and is a paradise for snorkeling, scuba diving, and sailing.
  • Sydney: Australia's biggest city is upbeat, cosmopolitan, and cultured, with several wonderful beaches near town and the world's most famous harbor view.
  • Kakadu National Park: This stunning wilderness is Australia's largest national park and home to the largest concentration of Aboriginal rock art in the country.
  • Melbourne: The most culturally vibrant city in Australia, Melbourne boasts great galleries and museums.
  • Flinders Ranges: Explore the ancient mountain ranges of Southern Australia, a wonderful place to draw inspiration from the colors of the outback.
  • Kata Tjuta: Perhaps the most recognizable landmark in Australia, the massive monolith of Uluru, also known as Ayer's Rock, is located in the middle of a phenomenal national park.

No matter how you choose to spend your vacation in Australia, there is an ideal vacation rental for you and your family or friends. If you plan to spend a few days in Sydney or Melbourne, consider a luxury apartment rental or condo in the center of town. Those who want to enjoy a bit more surf and sand can seek out a beach house or oceanfront villa near the coast. You can also find a cabin rental near Australia's desert parks and mountain ranges, giving you access to the country's great wilderness.

Our large family group had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful property,it was clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need, the table tennis and the Wii were especially popular in the evenings with kids of all ages. The views and location right on the beach is amazing and the owners are very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The house is secure and private with plenty of parking. We had overseas guests with us and they loved the location and we enjoyed a wonderful Christmas here, the owners even supplied a lovely decorated tree for us.Myself and my family would highly recommend Caravel Beach House.see more

self contained studio guesthouse with pool access Smithfield Cairns
Lovely people, it feels like home!

Cheryl was always so helpful and very nice to us. She helped us in the first days to visit some nice spots around that area. Even when she was at work she always answered our questions fast and was just lovely to us. The guesthouse was always clean and just beautiful inside, you have everything there. The pool is perfect for a refresh with an amazing view over Smithfield and beyond. If we returned to Cairns we would certainly stay again in the studio guesthouse and we really will miss Cheryl and Peter on our next trips.see more
Flinders Luxury Penthouse
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We stayed at this apt for 5 nights- and inquired to stay longer! This is the penthouse apt on the 26th floor of a hotel/residential building, which is great bc a 24 hr concierge/front desk/security team is always available for you at the front desk, while having the independence of your own apt. The penthouse is spotlessly clean and accommodating with all the amenities. We loved the spacious terrace, and it's proximity to the casino, free tram, grocery store...and especially to the 2 best breakfasts spots in all of Melbourne that we experienced- Grain Restaurant and Hardware Society!! Thank you to our hostess, Liliana, for her responsiveness and kindness to us!see more
