Quinta da Agrela is a substantial family home only 15 minutes drive from the well known and loved town of Barcelos in the North of Portugal.

The private gardens extend to 10800m2 - over 2 acres - and a total living area of 450m2

Although situated in the countryside there is plenty to do at your holiday home.

Nearby we can show you a couple of excellent restaurants to eat locally and of course in Barcelos itself you're spoilt with the open air markets, cafes, restaurants and historical buildings

However in addition to that the Atlantic Coast with its stunning clean beaches is only a 25 minute trip by car using the excellent A11 dual carriageway, making day trips to the beaches really easy!

The fabulous cities of Braga and Viana do Castelo are also a short drive away - within 30 minutes.

So there's definitely something for everyone. The nice thing about this holiday experience is that we look after you - as much or as little as you need or want.

The House

All the rooms are of good proportions.

The lounge and dining room are very comfortable and have ample seating for all of you and your guests.

There is Multi Channel Satellite TV and wifi provided.

There are 5 good sized bedrooms and all of them are ensuite.

The kitchen, pantry and utility are fully equipped

The outdoor gardens are expansive and well tended

“Family Holiday”

A lovely house with lots of space, in a great rural setting. All the rooms where clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and hospitable, providing useful information on where to go and especially where to eat. Don Carlos is a must go to restaurant and is only a short 15 minutes drive. Everyone made good use of the facilities at the house including the fantastic pool and games room. We had a some great day trips to Porto, Braga, even Spain which was no more than an hour from the villa. Not forgetting our visits (every Thursday) to the largest outdoor market in Barcellios. A big thank you to Ana, Gustavo and the rest of the family, who made us feel welcome and couldn’t of been more helpful. We would certainly recommend the villa to anyone who was looking to go and discover Northern Portugal.

How do damage deposits work?
