Home from home property

Left on Dec 05, 2009 for a stay in May 2008

I could quite happily have moved into this cottage and never moved out again! Lovely cottagey feel, lounge was really comfy and the new modern kitchen provided everything we needed. Bathroom was new and well designed. Bedrooms were cosy and homely.

The garden was a suntrap, but we had to keep a watch over the dog due to the quite high drop at the grass edge. Would probably not be safe for …

Delightful cottage and town

Left on May 13, 2010 for a stay in March 2010

Knoll Cottage was extremely well equiped and delightfully furnished. Everything possible was provided.
Bakewell itself is a lovely town, spick and span, friendly and the cleanest, litter-free place I have ever visited.(dog friendly pubs too).
Parking is a bit of a problem but a very minor inconveinience.

PERFECT LOCATION

Left on Dec 02, 2009 for a stay in July 2009

We were delighted with the location of the cottage, which was on the edge of the Chatsworth Estate, had a bus stop on the doorstep and was within easy reach of Chesterfield as well as many places to visit.
The cottage itself was charming, beautifully decorated & furnished and well-equipped.
The only downsides would be the size of the lounge (the five of us, with six at the weekend, didn't spend …

Good area but Studio tight fit for two.

Left on Mar 05, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Clean, well equipped and warm (during a cold snap). It has great shower facilities but in spite of being so well provided with all the necessary kitchenalia the room, in our opinion,is just too small if you want to self cater. Living space does not permit of swinging a very small mouse let alone a cat! This place is better suited to those who eat out.

The location is great, situated in …
