Tylney House is an elegant and historical townhouse located in a quiet street in the very centre of the city. All of Bath's attractions, shops, and restaurants are just a short stroll. Our spacious and light home is perfect for families or friends to enjoy the delight of the city and call home and is excellent value.
To ensure the most enjoyable and memorable stay we are doing our part to help guests stay safe with enhanced cleaning.
Tylney House is a welcoming home comprising 4 tastefully decorated bedrooms, 2 family bathrooms, an elegant living and dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen. Set over 3 floors, this important house was designed by the famous architect John Wood in 1729, and a friend of Jane Austen (Earl Tylney) once lived here.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Tylney House is the most centrally located holiday let in Bath, yet tucked away on a quiet street near Queen’s Square. Bath is a compact city and being in the very centre everywhere is just a short stroll. The Roman Baths, Pump Rooms, Abbey, Thermae Spa, excellent restaurants and eclectic shops are all less than a 5 minutes walk. Even the train station and Royal Crescent are only a 10 minute walk.
SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATION: 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms
Tylney House has 4 good sized bedrooms that comfortably sleep up to 11 guests. We have a large family bathroom and a shower room on the top floor. For your convenience, there is a bathroom/toilet on each floor. All the beds have pocket sprung mattresses and are made with crisp super-soft Egyptian cotton bed linen for a great night's sleep. To maximize the flexibility of sleeping arrangements, single beds can be joined into super-king and comfortable futon beds can be provided.

IDEAL FOR FAMILY & FRIENDS GET TOGETHERS
The spacious period Living Room provides a delightful space for entertaining or a peaceful refuge and with a 40" Samsung flat-screen TV, NetFlix, Hi-FI, board games and a DVD and book collection. Next to the living room is the dining room with 11 chairs and from here you enter the light Kitchen which has all the equipment you should require for making a fine feast.
GETTING HERE
Tylney House is fortunate to be positioned within a 5 minute walk of Bath's best value long stay car park and is just a 10 minutes walk from the Train and Bus Station.

“Perfect place for a large group in the heart of Bath!”
