Description
This house offers a unique opportunity to discover Bergerac and the Dordogne area from a base in the heart of Bergerac's historic old town. Next to the Tobacco Museum, with several excellent restaurants only a step away from the front door, and lovely views of the Dordogne river from the upper floor, this fabulous historic house has been renovated to a very high standard. It was recently featured on the Channel 5 series 'Holiday Homes in the Sun' (still available on My5).
There are 2 bedrooms, one with twin beds, the other with a large double, each with its own shower room, a beautiful 1st floor sitting room, and a fully fitted kitchen/diner on the ground floor. Please note this is a true town house, with one room on each floor, and a fairly steep and narrow staircase in between each floor.
The house has been beautifully furnished and provided with high quality linen and kitchen equipment, but it retains loads of character and original features.
Please note the tv provides french channels, plus English speaking news channels only. There is also an apple tv box to stream other channels from your devices.

“Home From Home - Bliss!”
The location was just perfect in the centre of Bergerac's old town with restaurants, shops and the port all close in amongst the ambience of French life. This was one of the best self catering accommodations we have ever stayed in with the most comfortiest beds. Thankyou Marion and Graham for making it special.
