“great place”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2020

The cottage was well equipped and roomy and clean. The view from the cottage was amazing, and being close to the river also. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and so much was accessible by bike. Would recommend area and cottage.

“Nice location”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2020

We spent a week here (1st-8th August 2020) We were four adults and two teenagers. The cottage Was in a great location for local spots. The river runs close by and there are lovely walks through the forests nearby. There is a B road right outside the cottage between the river which is mostly quiet but when cars do pass by they are very fast so it’s advisable to keep an eye on little ones. The cottage was cosy and warm and has clearly been a lovely place at one time but it needs some TLC now. The main areas were clean but it needed a good spring clean and a lick of paint. Take care when using the oven as there are no gloves and you may wish to take proper bath towels too. There is no WiFi but this didn’t bother us. Despite this, we had a lovely cosy stay and would recommend the area and using it as a base.
