“Best family vacation we have ever had!” Between the location, the house but mostly the wonderful staff we experienced the best family vacation we have ever taken. There were three families, which included 8 children ranging in age from 4 to 17 and 6 adults for 10 days staying at the house. We ate every breakfast and most of our dinners at the house. Saskia and her "can do" attitude made the experience relaxing and care free. Ronny was our chef and the food was fabulous. We never wanted for anything. I would highly recommend other families to enjoy the house and the experience. All thanks to alek, Saskia and Ronny.

“Absolutely amazing apt., all renovated, totally stocked & no detail forgotten” Wow, wow, wow. Great location with cafes and shops right out the door on beautiful place Gracia and metro just across the street. Brand new furniture, beds and everything you could need in the kitchen (not that we cooked-but you certainly could!) Showers were enormous with great water pressure even when all three were in use. Super soft towels and fluffy robes were placed for all 4 grownups. The owner stocked the kitchen like a 5 star hotel with nespresso pods, coffee creamers, jam, biscuits, tea, coke, beer, water and beautiful welcome treats. Both bedrooms are more than "masters" - perfect for 2 couples traveling with kids or grandparents, extended family etc.-no one feels like they're getting the less nice room. There are automatic shutters that make it so dark, you have to set an alarm or risk sleeping really late. Even though its right on Gracia and it can be a little loud if the windows are open, it it totally quite with the double paned windows. There's also AC in every room that can be individually controlled. There are bluetooth music speakers so you can have music from your phone and state of the art electricity system where you hit one button when you walk out the door and it shuts all the lights out. The two kids bedrooms are quite tight (two twin beds each in a perpendicular arrangement) and no place to hang clothes but had drawer space so it worked fine for us. I can't emphasize enough how everything is just perfect and very high end. The owner was extremely enthusiastic, helpful and responsive to any questions and delighted in showing us all the details. The only downside was the booking process was a bit convoluted with various agencies/contacts and a very inconvenient payment process (other than the initial payment by CC which was great). Since we were the first guests to stay here I believe they will sort the payment process out and add a welcome manual with local grocery, restaurant recommendations, etc. which will make it even more perfect. I am a VRBO owner and am very picky about every detail and I just can't describe what a wonderful experience this was. The owner also had brochures for all the sights, art books, guide books, umbrellas, safety waist packs, first aid kit, beautiful bathroom lotions, cottons pads, and the list goes on. I would definitely recommend this unparalleled property.

“Perfect combination of sea and mountains...” -We are a family from Montreal in Canada and we had a great stay at Villa Sunlight. This special villa has a magnificent view of the Mediterranean sea and a perfect combination of sea and mountains. We were impressed that the concept of the villa had a small reception at the entrance,and it was separate from the rest of the house. We received all the tourist information from the region like as a hotel. The rooms have a contemporary style with Mediterranean colors and we felt like it was summer in the middle of December. It was a wonderful holiday just we were looking for. Thank you! Nous sommes une famille de Montréal au Canada et nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Villa Sunlight. La villa a une vue magnifique sur la mer Méditerranée et une combinaison parfaite de la mer et les montagnes. Nous avons été surpris le concept de cette villa avec une petite réception à l'entrée de la villa et séparée du reste où nous avons reçu toutes les informations touristiques de la région. “The location is perfect !!” Montse is an excellent host and the apartment is very nice. It is located relatively close to Las Ramblas (walking distance), a metro stop, and has a few convenience/grocery stores nearby. Although the surrounding neighborhood is not very posh, the area permits guests good accessibility to major attractions. The apartment itself is in great condition and is also spacious. It has a modern feel, is clean and organized, and I felt safe in the building. I highly recommend this listing in Barcelona.
