“Peaceful location, friendly hosts” Our large family group felt at home immediately, particularly with the welcome from the beautifully behaved farm dogs, Ruby and Poppy and the housemartins nesting in the eaves. There was a double bed in every room, plus singles in some. The house has a very comfortable feel about it, and the area is so beautiful that we would go back at the earliest opportunity. This is no designer property, but that wasn't what we were looking for!

superb

A superb property in all but one area, the charcoal BBQ's were very large & not very well maintained. A more modern gas BBQ. would be ideal. This is only a minor issue as everything else about the house & the grounds is fantastic. We would definitely return. The setting is magical & private. The hot tub is massive, we only used one side of it. Can't recommend it highly enough. The person who looks after it & holds the key, lives nearby & is on hand if required, he is very helpful, discreet & unobtrusive. … see more

A perfect week

The cottage is in a beautiful location and is very safe if you have dogs or children. The hosts are great very funny and my husband was in heaven with all the toys available. The cottage is compact but has almost everything you need and it is very warm and cosy. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the local Tesco makes shopping easy. We only need nice beaches and although it was a drive to the best one it was a great one. The cottage was very clean and well equipt apart from the lack of a dishwasher and a larger double bed would be better but these are very minor issues. We will go back. … see more

Wonderful genuine welcome, very accomodating hosts both to us and our dog. Fabulous location, wonderful views and very peaceful. Lots to do in the surrounding area with lots of walks for dog and us to explore. Access tests your driving skills but destination more than makes up for it. … see more
