“An amalfi Dream” We booked this beautiful villa in celebration of a big birthday and anniversary. We invited the whole extended family. This was beyond anyone's imagination. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The booking was very pleasant as the agent is very informative and knowledgeable about the area. The bonus - there is a local agent who really helped make this a perfect trip. He's local to the amalfi Coast and helps with all planning each day. We had a local couple cook pizza in the property's woodburning oven - that was truly amazing!!! We highly recommend Lauri and Giacondo of amalfi Life!

“An most excellent welcome, perfect location and accommodation an” It is very rare to find such a complete package of great location, welcome, perfect hospitality and facilities. Eduardo and family run an excellent B&B; which is of very good value. Eduardos assistance for visits and restaurants was very helpful and gave us a very successful time. The people of Scafati and Pompei are so helpfull too We would have no hesitation on highly recommending BB Fauno and will certainly return

“Gorgeous apartment in a central location!” We stayed in apartment Cartiera in July 2013 and it was beyond our expectations! The apartment has been beautifully renovated - it's bright airy and extremely spacious with all the mod-cons you'd expect (a/c, washing machine, free wifi, TV, all kitchen utensils etc. It was extremely clean with good security. There was even a separate dining room which also contains an extra bed. The master bedroom is massive with double doors looking onto the street (which was not noisy). The apartment is located centrally; once you walk down the steps you reach the start of the main street with all the shops, restaurants etc. The pool is across the room but easy to access; it was lovely with seating across two floors and plenty of shaded areas. We were a group of 4 friends and we really enjoyed cooking lunches, eating outside on the apartment's table&chairs;, relaxing inside and of course, being a stone's throw away from all the action of amalfi town! We would highly recommend to others (families, couples or just groups of friends - a great apartment! I don't think the pictures online do it justice!

“Beautiful apartment” La Tuga was the perfect fit for my family (my husband and I and three children). We loved staying right across from the sea and steps away from restaurants, cafes and shops in Minori. The apartment had a very large living room, two baths and three bedrooms. We didn't use the kitchen but it was nice to have. It was 71 steps up to the apartment but the exercise was good after all our delicious meals! Our weather was on the chilly side so we couldn't take advantage of the being so close to the water, but it didn't stop us from exploring Amalfi the first day and taking an easy walk to Maiori the next day. We had some trouble with the parking spot since we had a large car and it was very tight fitting, but it was convenient to have. We would recommend the apartment!

“A wonderful stay” This apartment is both beautiful and perfectly located on the amalfi coast. It had great amenities enjoyed by the whole family, particularly the pool. It is only a short walk to restaurants, for groceries or to admire the water. The expert advice and welcome by the staff made this stay very enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again, and happy to recommend to others.

“Almost too good to be true!” We are two couples who stayed in the two-bedroom, two-bath apartment for five nights in September. It was perfect! Spacious, attractively decorated, well-furnished kitchen, and the most beautiful views imaginable. So many outdoor spaces to enjoy: the balconies, the large patio, and the gorgeous pool We all decided we could live in the apartment, particularly if Franco were there to help us park the car and answer our questions. He was very helpful. And staying in Minori was a delight. Not overcrowded with tourists. We loved walking into town each evening (despite the narrow road) and trying the local restaurants--three we found to be very good. One final point: the apartment was quiet. Though the living area overlooked the narrow amalfi Coast road, the bedrooms were away from the street. We all slept well.

Ciliegia, Near the Beach, Sea View, by Amalfivacation
Minori apartment
- 1 bedroom
- 1 bathroom
- sleeps 4
“Excellent location, clean & good value” This apartment is very clean, furnished in Ikea style. Franco was very helpful getting us checked in and oriented. The location is excellent, situated right near the beach. There is a lovely view of the sea from the front of the apartment, and a lovely view of the cathedral from the back. Four of us stayed here (2 adults and 2 children ages 4 and 6) and we were very comfortable. Things you need to know about Ciliegia. - You need to climb 124 steps to get to the apartment, if you're in good shape it's no big deal but you will struggle to carry a heavy suitcase! - It can be a bit noisy at night because the bars/cafes near the apartment stay open pretty late. Be aware that if you stay here during the annual "Minori White" celebration you will be kept awake till 4.30am by extremely loud DJ music from the beach. - The bed in the bedroom is very firm. My wife found it very uncomfortable. The pullout sofabed was actually more comfortable. - The parking situation is very difficult to navigate, especially if you have a larger car. Our rental car was damaged in this lot, both by someone else, and by us! - The beach in front of the apartment is wonderful, especially good for young kids. There is a gentle surf and the water stays shallow fairly far out. - The infinity pool is absolutely stunning, probably the most beautiful setting I've ever seen for a swimming pool. Just be aware that the walk along the road to the pool can be a bit terrifying. - Talk to the travel agency in town to book some unique, smaller tours. We booked a small boat one day which toured the coast up to Positano, stopping at the Grotta dello Smeraldo. Only 8 people on the boat, it was great. - We found everyone in Minori to be super friendly and helpful, we had an amazing vacation here and recommend Minori, and Ciliegia, to anyone.

“Multo Bene 30th anniversary vacation w/ 5 family members” We started planning our vacation w/ Amalfi Vacations in Jan/13...from beginning to the end (incl. a 3:30 a.m. transfer to Naples airport)their customer service was impeccable (mostly from Vincenzo, Norma & Franco).Vincenzo even looked after making sure that alitalia airlines had a vegetarian meal for one of our daughters...service above & beyond! The Villa accommodated our 3 adult couples & 1 single comfortably over the spacious 4 floors & outdoor patio w/ BBQ... Their associate companies were also very accommodating (especially amalfi Car Service owned by Salvatore), who's drivers & shuttle vans were excellent for our group of 7... The location & vistas were breath taking & awesome, your near the center of the peninsula & within easy reach of Ravello, Amalfi & Positano (If you go to Positano make sure you have a true home cooked Italian dinner at "La Tagliata" near the top of the hillside)... Would strongly suggest a boat cruise along the peninsula & to Capri for a great perspective of the peninsula & the towns along the entire coast...good weather is always a bonus & we had temps. of mid-20's during our stay / no rain... It met & exceeded all our expectations (how's this - not one complaint from any of the kids that should tell you a lot)... We'd hope to return in the not too distant future!

“Amazing memories” I hesitated to write a review about this villa because I wanted to be selfish and not let anyone else know how fantastic it was !!! However as Valeria and Franco are such wonderful people I have decided to share the love ! My husband and I stayed for 11 nights with our daughter and son in law joining us on the last 5 nights . The villa is generous in size however we found ourselves on the deck most of the time . The views are amazing and to climb down the steps to the beautiful ocean is incredible . The ocean is calm and makes swimming a dream . The stairs from the villa to the road are a bit more challenging ( we just took it slowly ) , food in minori is fantastic with great pastries and fresh produce... The local ham , cheese , and peaches are incredible . We can't wait to go back and enjoy the best part of Italy .

“Perfection!” Absolutely beautiful Villa and with stunning views . Lots of great little areas to sit, dine, and drink. The owner and his wife were extremely helpful and welcoming. The situation was very good being in between two lovely villages with the bus stop at the top of the drive. There were 3 couples and we all had gorgeous rooms with a balcony with a view.

“Gentle, pleasant in every way” This lovely villa in gentle, beautiful Praiano was the reunion spot for my family, May 29 - June 5, after my husband's six-month tour in afghanistan. We wanted a quiet and beautiful place to get to know each other again - kids, 10 and 12 - and have adventures at our own pace. It was exactly what we'd hoped. The wonderful: Ed and Tony, the key-keepers; the view; the terraces; the locals; the location - If you must leave Praiano (but really, it doesn't get lovelier, only more crowded), Amalfi and Positano are short rides away; Capri an easy ferry ride. Easy access to Path of the Gods. Really clean and pretty villa, though not new. Perfect for four. Six would be tight, but doable. Steps not a big issue, except for those who need handicapped access or have a double stroller. Tutto per Tutti, the grocery store, is a short walk and has nearly everything you need - also, it's the meeting place for locals! Bad: I am having trouble thinking of anything bad! I guess the beds were a little hard. Lack of wifi was the closest we saw to an inconvenience, but there are hotels within a few minutes' walk that will let you use theirs for the price of a cappuccino. So, not really an issue. Best: We are not Italian or Catholic, but if you are there on a Sunday, you'll hear lots of people singing from somewhere on the cliff. Turns out the weekly Sunday Mass is on *the roof* of Tutto per Tutti, sea in the background! It's followed by a procession through town; walkway lined with candles and flowers. That was a true highlight, even though we didn't understand a word of the service! After six days at Torre a Mare, we went to Rome, which was a blast. But my heart remains in Praiano - where the air smells like jasmine and it's all about the senses. I highly recommend Torre a Mare and will never forget it.
