“It was everything we had dreamed of and more...quaint and very c” The proprietor was very easy to work with and was so gracious. We had a wonderful welcome basket with lots of local goodies on our arrival. The home was more than adequate with five private bedrooms, ours was on the second level with living/dining area and a balcony. We enjoyed the infinity pool and the delicious fruit from the orchards. We were able to have a private chef come to our villa and cook dinner, what a presentation. Castelmuzio was the perfect spot for us, so quaint and beautiful. We downloaded Italy to our GPS and it was a piece of cake to sight see all the other villages. Don't miss Pienza, Montpulciano, Cortona, Orvieto Cathedral, San Gimignano, but my favorite was Monticiello, the view of the Tuscan Hills was breathtaking. If we ever get to go back to Italy, I would stay at Villa nell'Oliveto again...It was everything we dreamed of and more.

“Some Fantastic Views, Welcoming Hosts and a Great Place for our” Driving up through the valley from the local town of Castiglion, you realize how lucky the locals are to live in a place as rich in natural beauty as here. We spent two wonderful weeks here enjoying our lovely cottage which was perfect for the 4 of us. Very rustic and a real taste of Tuscany. The large pool is a quiet haven, surrounded by well maintained grass and perfect to sit, swim, relax and admire the views - and sunsets. Our hosts, Massimo and Eva were very helpful and welcoming. It was they and Massimo's mother who restored the village and, kept all the little details alive. Certainly, nothing was too much trouble although it is the other end of the valley, it was easy enough to go off on day trips. We used the rail station in Castiglion for a trip to Florence and arezzo, but the rest of the time we enjoyed some of the country drives suggested by Eva - including a visit to avignonesi winery over in montepulcano . A good family restaurant in the valley along with others in the town. We (I) even found a small (9 hole) golf course - about 40 minutes from here a long way to come, but we would love to come back one day.

“Return visit” One again we enjoyed our visit to this well run set of apartments. They are ready on time, cleean and well equiped. A caretaker lives on site to provide backiup if needed. The gardena and pool are tell tended and maintained. Montipulciano is 10 mins away by car. Be aware that it is in the middle of the countryside with no shops or restaurants nearby.
