“Fantastic family holiday” Firstly the house is lovely with all the facilities you could wish for and also very spacious and comfortable. Even without the pool area there was so much to do - table tennis, badminton, cycling. The pool itself was a luxury with plenty of seating/lounging next to it. The location was very peaceful and ideal for a relaxing holiday - no noise or disturbance at night - just the sounds of the countryside. Loads to do nearby as well - caves at Lascaux well worth a trip, Brantome, Hautefort all nearby - you can do as much or as little as you want. Definitely recommended for families ( and maybe next time a few friends as well)

“Good food, good wine and great place!” There were 10 adults and 4 young children in our party but we took the whole place to give us some extra room. Worked out really well with the two young families in the two cottages and we used the main house for all the cooking and drinking!! Great having the seperate places and a table big enough for us all to eat at. Kitchen was well stocked. Slightly bigger bbq wouldn't hurt. It was fine for us but might have stuggled if at full capacity. Pool was great, nice and secure despite my nephew's best efforts. Loads of bikes on site for pottering about and trips to the local village for bread as well as the horse and carriage which was a hit. Ted and Jo were really nice. Very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. Ted took a couple of us mountain biking which was great...if not a bit hard to keep up!! Amazing food market in the local village on a wednesday and lots of other bits to do in the area...or just chill out by the pool. positives: Whole place! Big table and kitchen pool Jo and Ted! Possible improvements: Perhaps a couple more showers Bigger bbq Perhaps update the pool furniture
