“Genuine Croatian Hospitality” On arriving at Hvar, we were met on the Riva and driven up to our apartment by Teo, Marija's brother. Our apartment was spotlessly clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, and double decks. A very warm welcome and some beautiful marmalade were waiting on the kitchen table. The apartment is situated within walking distance to the beautiful historic town of Hvar, where we enjoyed many hours of exploring, and eating in many of the local restaurants and cafes. The famous Hula Hula bar was just down the hill from our apartment, or for those who wished somewhere a little quieter; a short stroll along the promenade to the Falco Bar, where we watched the sun set... paradise. Marija, your marmalade was fabulous, and yes, we did think of you while eating it in Igrane. Teo, many thanks for driving us up to the fortress on that very hot day; it was a panoramic view not to be missed. We would highly recommend Ela Majija's apartments to any one traveling to Hvar.

“Wonderful visit to Prague” We loved everything about our stay in In the Residence Rybna. The staff was so helpful, from the time of booking to airport pickup, to checkin and afterward. The location was ideal for our visit. We were in walking distance to everything we wanted---sight seeing, the Karlova Bridge, the Prague Castle, the Jewish quarter and Cemetary, dining and entertainment. The tram and subway were both close by and easy to access. We definitely recommend these accommodations and will stay there again on our next visit to Prague.

“The location is perfect !!” Montse is an excellent host and the apartment is very nice. It is located relatively close to Las Ramblas (walking distance), a metro stop, and has a few convenience/grocery stores nearby. Although the surrounding neighborhood is not very posh, the area permits guests good accessibility to major attractions. The apartment itself is in great condition and is also spacious. It has a modern feel, is clean and organized, and I felt safe in the building. I highly recommend this listing in Barcelona.

“Lovely apartment, good location, excellent hosts” Spent week on lovely Hvar and thoroughly enjoyed this very well-kept apartment. Spectacular views from top floor apartment, location is convenient to Hvar Town without being in the middle of the hubbub. Nada and anton, our hosts, deserve special mention. Friendly and helpful, they provided everything from taxis to fuel for the available outdoor wood-burning grill. Excellent value overall.

“Delightful apartment, central and convenient location, responsive owners” Stayed here for 5 nights in June 2014. The apartment was wonderful and met our needs to a tee. It has the amenities needed for a short or longer stay, is very clean, conveniently located to both Avignon and the general Provence area. The landlords take obvious pride in their property, are courteous and attentive without being obtrusive, and are highly responsive to the needs of their guests. In addition they add a touch of genuine interest in their guests and go out of their way to offer value added items such as pick up and return to the train station, good suggestions regarding what to see, do and good places to dine. We cannot say enough about the apartment and its owners and, obviously, highly recommend it.

“Forget hotels - stay here!” Booked this as a surprise trip after proposing to my now-fiancée and we absolutely loved it. After searching hotel comparison sites and finding tiny rooms anywhere were £250+ per night, I decided to have a look on Homeaway.co.uk. Reviews for this place were great and the pictures looked amazing - as others have said, this is an absolute bargain compared to much more basic hotel rooms. The pictures don't do the apartment justice - it is incredibly luxurious but also comfortable, with everything you could possibly want provided and offered by the owner. Great for a special occasion or just any trip to Paris really! The location is perfect, just minutes from the Champs-Élysées and around the corner from a Metro station. We rarely used the Metro, with the arc de Triomphe, Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Eiffel Tower and arguably Notre-Dame within walking distance. A few handy shops nearby - no bakeries/patisseries were open when I looked but it was Easter weekend... some great restaurants nearby, would particularly recommend Le Boeuf Sur Le Toit (details in the welcome pack provided). We were extremely surprised they didn't have a Michelin star and they were extremely welcoming, not a fussy dress code etc. (P.S. I strongly recommend the châteaubriand!) Other things to note are that the building is extremely secure, the owner is very trustworthy & that every need will be catered for during your stay. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else next time I visit Paris and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. 12 out of 10!

“superb” We had an excellent stay there. With an unforgettable view on the bay, appartment is very well equiped with all stuff you could need to make your vacations very comfortable. Only few meters to the beach, shops and main attractions. I will qualify the situation as Excellent. The rest is at same level. Will come back for sure.

“Highly recommended Roman apartment” My family and I recently enjoyed a weeks stay in this lovely apartment. The price was very reasonable for the amenities and location provided. “relaxation and enjoyment” Impressive place. At several places it still can be seen remains of Greek and Roman architecture. We enjoyed the accommodation in the heart of the oldest city in Croatia. Walking, beautiful beaches, beautiful places around the island, food and drink, good reception, friendly people. Yeah, that's it. We recommend.
