“Everything we could have wished for and more!!” Just back from a two week stay here. Condo looks exactly as it does in the photos, stunning! We have been to Orlando many times, however this is by far the best condo we have ever stayed in. Everything went really smoothly, from booking, paying and getting all the necessary information required. The location is excellent, close to parks and the pool was great also. We had decided to take it "easy" this time round in Orlando and having such a beautiful place to stay in was wonderful. Great to sit outside on the porch in the evening watching various fireworks and enjoying the evening sun. The condo was also well equipped and felt really at home here. Would recommend and hopefully will return soon.

“Excellent little getaway” My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The cabin was beautiful and well kept. The hot tub was very clean. We could hear traffic sometimes but not enough to really be bothered. This is a wonderful place to stay near some great national parks, and right outside the lively town of Helen. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

“It's Delightful, It's Delicious, It's De-lovely!” One would think that Cole Porter wrote those lyrics after visiting Ye Olde Manor House! The owners, Karen Fulbright-Anderson and John anderson, are a delightful, warm, welcoming couple. They are so friendly and engaging that you feel at home almost as soon as you arrive. And their home reminds me of an English Country Cottage with the many comfortable seating areas and nooks and crannies expected. There is also a beautiful green lawn with several flowering beds and many lovely spots for sitting. But the piece de resistance of the public areas is the year-round indoor/outdoor pool, with a depth of no more than 5 feet, which makes it perfect for swimmers and non-swimmers (me) alike. First, and most importantly, each guest room has it's own private bath stocked with lovely smelling potions and lotions, big, soft, fluffy bath towels and anything else that you might need. Second, the rooms are lovely. I stayed in the 'Oak Room', which is filled with antique oak furniture and is perfect for one person. There is a chair for reading, a beautiful antique trunk that you can sit on use for your luggage and antique lamps, doilies and trinkets. There were two other guest rooms nearby, but I slept like a baby and never heard anyone else! The breakfast that John and Karen offer negates the need for lunch! You have a choice of Vegan, Vegetarian or the Meat and Dairy eaters breakfast, and everything they prepare is delicious! Finally, there are plenty of other things to do nearby-walking around the Lake, hiking, visiting the quaint Town of Elkhorn, attending concerts and, my favorite, antique fairs!! My long weekend at Ye Olde Manor House was so enjoyable and relaxing that it left me feeling as though I'd spent a week at a spa. Writing about it is making me feel the same way all over again. I can't wait to visit again!!!

“Fantastic holiday villa” Communication with owners was fantastic from enquiry to booking and return home. The villa was luxurious and we had a fantastic family stay, from relaxing at the villa in the pool to visiting local theme parks, location was great , quiet estate and handy for local amenities!!! We would definitely visit again, very spacious, excellent facilities including washing machine, dishwasher, plenty of storage and bedrooms were fantastic. Games room was a real hit with the kids along with the pool. We all really enjoyed the villa.

“Excellent accommodations.” Excellent accommodations and location. House was very clean and pool was perfect facing the south sun.

“Worth It!!!” Our family stayed at Westgate Lakes for one week during Spring Break. We had a four bedroom condo and the space was fabulous!!! We were more than impressed with the resort staff and all the ammenities. The location was also very excellent and so easy to find and so close to the attractions we wanted to visited. The resort was very clean in all areas and very safe and secure for our family.

“Would Rent Again” The house was clean and had everything we needed. Maggie and her husband were very flexible and accommodating. I was with a party of six and we had enough space to all sit around the dinning table. I would definitely rent again.

“Great location” We had a great vacation! Condo was really nice. Only thing we would change is more bath and kitchen towels. There were no kitchen towels at all. Lol

“Cute, convenient, quite cottage.” My wife and I stayed here for four night at the end of July. It is a cute rustic cabin with room for two - four people. It is close to everything in the Traverse area. Nestled on Duck lake peninsula, it is a great place for fishing. I caught 4 large-mouth bass out of the nearby canal alone. The owner is very nice and prompt in her responses. The peninsula has four different spots where you can access the lake. Good if you are looking for a quick weekend getaway!

“awesome beautiful place” I can't say enough about this. Place, perfect I guess Serene, peaceful,beautiful, quiet. Djuna the owner is Sweet and very efficient and provides every detail. The Whole are is perfect Oct a getaway, things to do places To shop,eat or just cuddle in with a fire. We will Definetly be returning as soon as we can.:)))

“Superb orlando villa - fantastic family home away from home” This was our first ever booking with HomeAway/VRBO and we were immediately drawn by the description, photos and other reviews on the site for Lakeview House. We decided to go for it (a family of 3 adults, 2 children) and the booking process was seamless - Derek, the owner, was in constant touch and with very useful information ahead of arrival. Although our flight from the UK had a bit of a glitch (meaning we arrived in the dead of night) we found the place without issue. There is always a nagging doubt with 'owner direct' type sites that pictures can be taken to flatter, or camera angles used to conceal. However, this is completely without warrant in this case and I can categorically guarantee that what you see in the pictures is absolutely what you get in real life! Think that wonderful vista over the lake behind Mickey and Minnie framing the fountain is an illusion? Absolutely not, it's that fantastic. Think the pictures of the pool and spa look too good to be true? Well believe it, we enjoyed them to the full. Games room really that capable? Oh yes, my son and I enjoyed the pool table and the air hockey immensely. This villa was perfect, and as travellers a long way from home, it was a joy to stay in. Location was excellent - to the west end of the '192' so great for driving to the parks and in a quiet and tidy residential street. As there is no-one immediately to the right of this villa (there's a small 'inlet' from the lake) there is a 'semi-detached' feel to it which adds to the sense of open-ness and space when out the back. Facilities were superb, kitchen well appointed, TVs everywhere. Missing 'ice hockey' pucks were spotted before we arrived and dealt with proactively - this villa is clearly well managed and Derek gave us a ring mid-stay to check everything was ok. Beds were comfy and air con and fans meant the villa was always a welcome and refreshing haven at the end of tough day in the parks. It was an intense two weeks for us as a family, as we were doing the Disney and Universal 'thing' to the max but the villa was everything we hoped for and more. We whole-heartedly recommend this villa either as a base for doing the Orlando 'Madness' or simply as somewhere to stay 24/7 and soak up the sun quietly. We will certainly return, God-willing, and if you're reading this and tempted to book, go ahead and bon vacances! Thanks you Derek and Julie for sharing your home with us. “A very welcoming home.” Our second stay and as great as the first time. A decorated Christmas tree greeted us, which was very nice. There was a bottle of wine to celebrate the New Year. The heated pool and hot tub were great. The home was near shopping and it didn't take us long to drive to the attractions. All in all we all enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable home. “Very Nice Location, Property, and Experience” The booking process was very easy and straightforward. It was much easier than bookings I have done on other sites. I felt my payment and information was secure. The process of checking in and getting access to the condo was very efficient as well. There was a minor hiccup with the entry code, but the customer service line was able to correct it right away. The house was nice and spacious. It had everything we needed to ensure we had a proper vacation. While there were some initial headaches, the owner and customer support line were always there to ensure we were satisfied. The location was great. it seems that there is a lot of development going on in this location. There were multiple places to eat, and shop. It was not far from all of the main attractions. Because of its proximity to I-4, there was minimal traffic. The pool and facilities were clean and comfortable. I met a lot of nice people there. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation that is close to all the great things in Orlando.
