Long Vacation? Thinking of moving to Charleston? In the city, pool, marsh.
Charleston house
3 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms / sleeps 6
“Spacious and Stylish” We had a fabulous time in this beautiful home. We were just a few minutes from everything. We bopped over to downtown, Sullivan's island, and Mt Pleasant with ease (nothing was more than 20 minutes away and downtown was more like 8). June had thoughtfully left plenty of towels for enjoying the pool. We barbecued and enjoyed the wildlife too - lots of crabs, egrets, and a beautiful pair of yellow crested night herons visited us for coffee each morning on the pool deck. The rooms are large with many separate seating areas inside and out. A wonderful way to enjoy Charleston.

“Great accommodations, great location in Wild Dunes Resort.” Isle of Palm is beautiful. This unit is very attractive, with high end finishes. The kitchen is very well outfitted, it was easy to cook a nice meal. A short walk to the beach and one of the golf courses. Although we prefer to walk, I am sure that the golf cart would be a great benefit for most. Bicycles & kayaks are really nice options.

Anne's Piece of Heaven Isle of Palms Sleeps 10
Isle of Palms house
4 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms / sleeps 10
“Best beach house” We have taken a family vacation to the Isle of Palms for the past 15 years. I used to live in Charleston. This house has the best location on IOP. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach (which is great for children because it has great waves and huge tide pools), there is no busy street to cross, it is right across the street from Wild Dunes (great for bike riding), it is a 2 minute drive to the Wild Dunes Marina (we always bring our boat), and it has a community pool. We have rented 5 other houses in this area and have been in this house for the past 2 (and plan on returning next year). We love it because it is clear, everything works, it has a scorned in porch, no bedrooms share a wall so it is very quiet inside, and it has a great outdoor shower.

4111 NIGHT HERON COTTAGE-FULL RESORT PRIVILEGES
Kiawah Island cottage
3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6
“A great family getaway in a perfect location!” We had a wonderful stay in October at this updated, clean, spacious cottage. Our two children loved the layout with the bathroom connecting their bedrooms, and my husband and I appreciated the child-friendly, safe setting. It is rare to find such comfortable beds in a rental! The kitchen was well-equipped and modern. The hospitable nature of the owners was felt from the first phone contact to the small, but important details of providing extra linens, detergent and brochures of the area attractions for their guests. We loved the fact that we were only a 3 minute walk from the pool and playground and just a bit further to the beach. Renting bikes, along with the swimming in the pool and at the beach, kept us pleasantly busy, but did not prevent us from having the calm, family-oriented week which allowed us to re-connect. This is a cottage we definitely hope to visit again!

Ocean Views! Luxurious Vacation Home to Remember!
Isle of Palms house
6 bedrooms / 5 bathrooms / sleeps 14
“Birthday Bash” The home was lovely and served our needs well. The beach is just around the corner, across the street and a short walk away. Brian was very responsive to questions and concerns before and during our stay. We were met at the house and personally shown through it with specific instructions about the elevator, door locks, etc. Our only "heads up" is that the sofa sleeper is in the living area so for us it was nonfunctional. We had planned to have children sleep there. Since they needed to go to bed much sooner than the adults, we had to acquire inflatable mattresses and bedding. Also there are NO paper products except one extra roll of toilet paper. There was no Kleenex, no additional plastic trash bags and no salt, pepper or other seasonings. I fortunately had asked Brian about the seasonings so brought my own. We left salt, napkins, coffee filters, paper plates and a box of Kleenex for the next guest. There was only one kitchen towel, 2 used sponges and a clean dish cloth. We brought our own laundry soap. There was a bottle of dishwashing soap and dishwasher pods. There are placemats and we were able to fit 12 around the table using extra chairs from the 2nd floor bedrooms.
