“An awesome, peaceful hideaway!” I discovered Finca Paraiso at B&B.com; and made reservations for Oct 2011. I usually rent a vehicle so the drive of about 30 minutes was not only interesting but exciting as well. The roads in CR are not well marked and are somewhat bumpy with a fair share of potholes. For the directionally challenged, the innkeeper might consider meeting the guests at the airport as an escort or taxi. On arrival, I was overwhelmed by the inspiring beauty of the property. The views are stunning. The grounds are superbly manicured and provide vast space for exploring and enjoying the peace and solitude of nature. There were hundreds of different plants, flowers, and trees. There is even a trout pond with waterfall. And, there is a mountain stream with many waterfalls that can be traversed. The inn has an indoor heated pool with a steam room too! As if all this isn't enough, my jaw dropped when I entered the suite. It was a villa with the space of three hotel rooms. The refrigerator was stocked with juice, bread, cheese, jam/jelly, and other foods. There was a fine bottle of wine as a welcome gift. It included a fireplace, living area, whirlpool tub, oversized queen bed, ample closet space and a bathroom with a large shower. There was television with DVD and cable service. Wired internet was also a feature. The room included a terrace with a table for enjoying meals outdoors. But the best part were the windows that surrounded the suite affording beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. I enjoyed time soaking in the quiet which allowed precious rejuvenation, physically, mentally, and spiritually. The innkeeper and his wife were very helpful in suggesting places to go and also in providing directions. They also provide a complimentary dinner of rainbow trout from the pond. A very delicious meal. I highly recommend Finca Paraiso. It will be my getaway of choice when visiting CR in the future. Pura Vida!

“An absolutely amazing Experience!!!” Villa de Los Suenos was spectacular! We went with a group of 16 people and never felt crowded, whether we were in the pool or in the same room in the house b/c the villa was so spacious. No detail is left out: from the decor, to the floor plan, to the finishes, to the home being wired for internet as well as stereo controls in each room, to the most comfortable bath robes I've ever worn. The views were amazing and I can't imagine staying in a place that is more comfortable. I normally miss my bed when I'm away for a long time but right now I'm missing sleeping at Los Suenos. The bedrooms are spread out so that every room is quiet at night. And oh yeah, it was really nice that the home had Vonage so we could call back home whenever we wanted for no cost. Wish I would have know that in advance, I would have saved $5 switching to the international plan for my cell phone during my vacation. Ha, ha! The staff was incredible and catered to our every need. They made sure the fridge was stocked with everything we ordered in advance and went to town to buy us whatever we needed, whenever we needed. However, one piece of advice for when you stock your fridge in advance, be cautious of the cost of some items in Mexico, some things like water, liquor are much more expensive (water is 4x the cost) as they are in the us. Loved meeting the owner of the house. He was so cool that he even let us keep his dogs at the house during some of the days. Not everyone in our group appreciated that, but the dog lovers did. The chef was amazing and what a value! We had breakfast made a couple times as well as a Mexican buffet for dinner. I highly recommend that service for anyone staying at the villa. Nanci and the staff at Baja Sur Vacations were great! This is the perfect place to stay if you are traveling with a large group. It is like having your own private hotel...only more luxurious than any place I've ever been...and I've been fortunate to stay at some great hotels!

“It was so beautiful and peaceful.” It was very spacious & accomadating. We are a family of six & it was everything we needed.The condo was very clean and nice. Beautiful view and beds were all comfortable and the shower is very large and has good water pressure. Great place for activities too. Such as the swimming pool,basketball & tennis court.Also some grassy area for play too.We would love to stay again. We highly recommend the condo.Also Jaclyn the owner was very nice & helpful when we was booking the condo. She's very nice & easy to talk too. The kitchen had everything for cooking such as dishes & small appliances. Very large coo stove and refrigerator. We spent a lot of time on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The condo is close to a lot of shops & dinning as well. Seems central located to everything.It truly was amazing for me & my family.....

“Modern Condo With An Awesome View” Choosing a rental condo is a personal decision with many variables to take in consideration. I know what is important to my wife and myself. I spent countless hours researching condo rentals that hopefully would meet our needs. Cape Winds Unit 508 has everything we were looking for. I was looking for a condo with a nice balcony and a killer ocean view that would provide a sun starved northerner sunshine throughout the day. Ideally in a newer updated clean condo. Affordability and convenience was important too. 508 came through on all points. Drew's pictures of the view don't do the condo justice. As soon as you first step foot inside the condo and look outside you will be immediately awestruck. The view is truly impressive and breathtaking. My wife and I spent almost every waking hour on the balcony taking in the view. The unit was clean, comfortable and well stocked with towels, blankets, extra pillows, beach chairs, and beach toys for children. The kitchen has everything you will need for your stay. There wasn't one thing missing that required me to go out and purchase. The balcony is very spacious and furnished with tables, chairs and a chaise lounge. We visited in what is a relatively busy time of year. You would never have known it though because Cape Winds was very quiet. We rarely heard or saw our neighbors. At times there would be guests using the pool and hot tub, but it was never swamped. Most nights we enjoyed a night cap in the hot tub by ourselves. Parking was abundant in both the covered structure or outside near the condo. To be fair, I do have one nit pick that I need share. 508 would really benefit from a fresh coat of paint. In absolutely no way was this a distraction or did it interfere with the quality of our stay. It was just noticable and I am trying to be impartial. If we should ever return to this area, I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. Why would I? Cape Winds 508 was everything I had hoped for, and then some.

“what a wonderful stay!” we rented this condo for the thanksgiving week just a month before. Jacyln was very helpful in making our stay easy and pleasant. The condo was just as pictured and the view was amazing. Just a few steps to the beach and we watched the cruise ships leave each evening and the fishing boats each morning. Great location to the port and pier and area attractions! we were impressed with the excellent maintenance of the grounds and pool area! Master bedroom is very spacious ! we had plenty of room with family to make thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and enjoy our lovely surroundings! will definitely rent here again!

“Much needed beach get-away!” We had an awesome time, staying in this unit. loved having the sliding glass doors in both the front room and master bedroom. It was easy access to the beach and the pool. A nice walk to both Cocoa Beach pier and the Jetty. Perfect time of year to have quiet time both at the beach and the pool. The grocery store was a quick five minute drive with plenty of wonderful restaurants within 10 minutes. We highly recommend both Fishlips (seafood) and El Tucan (Mexican). Shopping was close as well -- both Walmart and Merritt Mall. Our favorite part of the vacation was taking long evening walks on the beach, followed by a late swim before the pool closed. Just what the doctor prescribed!!!!! and one added bonus -- the unit comes with a washer and dryer -- first vacation where we came home with clean clothes! and one final note -- the "beach" closet had everything you would need to spend a day on the beach -- towels, chairs, umbrellas, boards, buckets, etc!

“Highly Recommend” This condo is everything you would want. Breathtaking views. Clean and updated kitchen. And just steps to the beach. Being on the corner is a big plus, as it has a wraparound patio and is directly over the pool. This is the second unit I've rented from Drew, and he was very professional and responds almost instantly. We will definitely be back again next year.
