“Excellent place to stay” We had an absolutely fantastic time at The Purple Parrot. We came for a week to visit our son at NaS. The location was 10 minutes from the back gate making visitation easy. We were also close to Johnson Beach and a short drive to Pensacola Beach. One of our nicest surprises was how close we were to the Gulf Shores and all of the activities there. We found the Gulf shores much nicer than Pensacola Beach itself. The Purple Parrot had everything we wanted and more. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic and the hours of operation were great. We did a late check in with no problem and check out was so easy. The staff at The Purple Parrot was always more than willing to help. The staff at Perdido Key Resort Management went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. Our experience with The Purple Parrot and Perdido Key Resort management was one of the best experiences we have ever had. I would highly recommend both of them to anyone.

“The best & most picturesque beachfront hacienda on the Riviera M” My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Hacienda Kukulkan during our Mexico trips, and consider it by far, the most gorgeous private home on the beautiful Mayan coastline! So look no further, you have found your dream vacation home in the Caribbean! From the minute we walked in, it completely took our breath away! The front of the house opens to a big tennis court on the left. There's even a fully equipped gym with panoramic views of the ocean, all which gave us the added motivation to work out on our vacation! ? The center of the house has an open air courtyard with a cute pond, and pretty patio furniture, and all rooms are built around it, some with spectacular ocean views. We spent many a night doing dinners under the moonlight and breakfast when we wanted to just laze in. The maids did a wonderful job with cooking & housekeeping, going out of the way to make sure we were comfortable. What is so impressive is that every room and every piece of furniture is custom designed! We spent hours in the fabulous pool overlooking the ocean, with music playing in surround sound throughout the villa. The location was awesome! Puerto aventuras surrounding a beautiful dolphin marina is convenient, close to all the night life & shopping at Playa and also the fabulous Tulum beach ruins. We felt safe and secure in this gated community! 3 years later, we were back to get married & the ambience was surreal! The courtyard, steps from the ocean, was perfect for our Reception, with Cocktail Hour by the pool. We hosted our family there, and the 8 bedrooms were more than sufficient to accommodate all. Our wedding was a huge success and our guests cannot stop talking about the gorgeous hacienda! We highly recommend Hacienda Kukulkan as your abode, to enjoy paradise in style! Like us, you would go back!! We are thankful to the owners (Rick & Sandy Spell), Marina of Riviera Maya Haciendas & Eddie, and maids like Mariana who made our stay there so memorable!

“Super fabulous, very happy family...” The property and villa is exceptional. Very well decorated and has the best vibe for entertaining. Mimi was our concierge and was very helpful and welcoming. This was a surprise trip for my family. All they knew before hand was cancun airport. I had pre arranged night time chef service. That was a+. we had 15 people who were all accomadated for at ease. Anna Paulo was our main chef. She made beautiful desserts! We also had Martin as a daytime bartender, he made sure everyone had a beverage from the dock to the pool to the garden. Good stuff :) The family enjoyed taking the golf carts into the dolphin area with shops and stores. We rented them for the week. The villa had them ready when we arrived in the driveway. Best thing ever was the night entertainment. Worth every penny . Water drums and fire dancers. 1 hour show. So amazing. You feel the drums and the water color splashing about with heat from the fire ...it's quite impressive, must see! I'm already making plans for the next trip back. We felt safe. Had everything a large group needed. Very accomadating. Playa Del Carmen was pretty close by by taxi. Bring water shoes if you go in the ocean. My next trip will include a tequila tasting at villa for one of the nights and a day trip to the salt caves and everything else the same :) Super Fabulous Vacation @ Hacienda Del Mar!! “Everything and more when you are looking only for the best!” Upon my first communication with the Puerto Vallarta Beach Club I could tell I was dealing with a different level of service. To start, my emails and countless phone calls were addressed quickly and efficiently. The pre-planning and preparation for my arrival by the staff was addressed with the upmost care, promptness and without hesitation. I honestly felt no request was too small. Could this be for real? Yes, and read on to find out why I have so much to say about this property. With my arrival expectations were high. Immediately I was warmly greeted by the Head Houseman and much of the staff. I was then given the option to a welcoming drink by the pool or to start off with a tour of the property. I opted for both and was amazed at the lush vegetation, pristine pool, and well maintained property - all of which, obviously, have never been neglected or unattended too. I can say, during the week I was there I never even found a scuff mark on a wall. The numerous staff always greeted us personally and their eagerness to make sure we had what we needed made us wish we never had to leave. Included were our personal chefs to cook every meal to our specifications (dietary restrictions with some guests). Laundry was washed, ironed and promptly returned at the end of day. The housekeepers didn't miss a spot. The pool side attendants were on hand to make any drink requested or notify the chef if we were ready for a snack. The concierge was always eager to schedule any events or spa treatments we needed that day or the next. Truly, the staff is well trained and enjoys providing the level of service that they do. The Puerto Vallarta Beach Club exceeded my expectations and I have already secured dates to return.

“La Quinta amada is delightful. One of the very best.” Finding La Quinta amada on the web was great good luck. It was everything the website described and really even better. Staying there was a highlight of a great trip to Mexico City, Teotihuacan, and Tlaxcala. I stayed in first class hotels in Mexico City and Teotihuacan but most enjoyed La Quinta amada. It is a perfect location to make day trips throughout the area to major archeological, historic, and natural sites. I went also to climb La Malinche and Cuatlapanga and the views of the mountains from La Quinta amada were inspiring. Tlaxcala itself is very interesting and La Quinta amada is a good location to walk to Tlaxcala and there is easy access to all forms of public transportation. It is set off the main road and so more peaceful. The building and garden are beautiful and the public spaces are very fine for relaxing. There are many ammenities and a good library. The individual rooms are light and airy and beautifully decorated. Everything is immaculately clean. Much thought has gone into every practical and aesthetic detail with consideration of providing a guest with comfort and an experience of the cultural treasures of Mexico. The hosts have a personal ties to Tlaxcala and a great knowledge of the area. To the degree a guest wishes, they are very pleased to provide detailed information about the area and help in navigating all practical matters. I had planned a rather rigorous trip and returning each evening to La Quinta amada was a pleasure. My experience of Tlaxcala was greatly enriched by my host's generosity and consideration. I hope to visit again. I have stayed in a variety of lodgings in the U.S., Mexico, South america, and Europe. La Quinta amada is one of my favorites.
