“Cocoa Beach” The Villa was awesome the owner Peter was great to deal with. Across the street from the beach it's a wonderful place walking distance to a few local things in Cocoa Beach my grandson's had a marvelous time and we will be renting from him again in the future I give it a 4 star rating

“Great Family Vacation (Super Close to the Beach)” 9 of us stayed at this wonderful house the week of 6/22/13. 6 adults and 3 children. The place is exactly what is presented in the online materials and pictures. The beach and ocean are so close. Very convenient for families with older folks or kids if you need to run back and forth to the house and don't want to drag a ton of stuff down with you. We enjoyed the pool a great deal as well, actually used it more than I thought. It is right off the Kitchen so the kids could play and we were really close by. The inside of the house is very nice and accomodated our party just fine. Master bedroom is amazing. Tv's in every room and the beds were very comfortable. The owner/property manager were very helpfull and resposive to our requests/inquiries. House is close to everything. Lot's of shopping and activities close by if you need them. We were just fine laying in the pull, playing tennis or having fun at the beach so we didn't do much other than that. I would highly recommend this place for couples or families. We had an outstanding time.

“Very Clean and awesome!!!” The ocean was very close and the sand was awesome! The things we really enjoyed were the really nice beach chairs provided. The outside grill was large enough to easily grill enough food for 14 people at one time. All items in kitchen were great and we had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were awesome and worked very well The furniture in the house was clean and comfortable for all of us. The house was really clean when we arrived and that impressed us all. Space wise the house could easily handle 16 except for maybe the lack of a third shower. Overall we really liked this place and would recommend it to anyone.

“Wonderful Vacation Home” Very well kept home. Clean, up to date and excellent service from owner. We heard a rattling sound in the ac unit and saw a small leak from ice maker made a phone call to the property manager and they came out repaired them that afternoon. It is evident that this home is cared for. Very nice beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. The home has automatic shutters, which makes the bedroom nice and dark for a great sleep! The furniture in the home is up to date and well kept. The beach is just steps away from the home, and the sunrises are amazing. We were overjoyed to happen to witness turtles that were just hatched return to the ocean. We will certainly return for another vacation!

“"Lovely"” This was a great spot, in fact Cocoa Beach was a very nice area to visit. The condo had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub area were great as well as the beach. Next time I would like an ocean view room which would of been nice. Very clean and nice and quiet. Thanks!

“Exactly as promised” Booking-arrival: Booking the home was very easy and straightforward process thru FlipKey-Tripadvisor. The homeowner (Rich) was very responsive and accommodating during the process (He got us a "beach buggy" to carry stuff to the beach). Emails were answered within the day (and most times within the hour). House: Upon arrival we were surprised to find the home bigger than what appears in the photos (most times it is the other way around). Everything was in working order and exactly as in the photos. We liked the large garage to park our car inside (Honda accord). Beach: We walked to the beach everyday and it tooks us less than 10 mins to get there (we are mid-fifty). You could drive to the beach access park but there are less than 10 parking spaces on Washington ave. Around: There is a good Pizzeria just in the strip mall behind the house (DiLorenzo). We use it twice and very good pizza. Also in the same strip mall, there is a Deli (mini grocery) and excellent service and food counter. Their prices for a small store were excellent (compare to 7-11 across the street). Misc: While in Cape Canaveral we took a 4 day Cruise from the Port Canaveral. A taxi from the house to the port is around $12.00. The Kennedy Space Center is a must to visit. The food court is a bit pricey but you can bring own lunch in your backpack. It is only a 15 mins drive from the house. The neighbourhood feel very safe. We walked around everyday and felt very secure. Lots of Police Car Patrolling the streets...! I can't think of anything negative to write.

“great condo...great place to stay” The place was great! Everything was included. There was enough linens and towels, very plentiful.There was even beach toys foy the kids, they loved it, as well as all kind of beach accessories. It was also very spacius and very clean. We loved the balcony facing the beach. We will definetly be going back next year. Marie was great as well!!! Thank you Marie.

“Fantastic experience!” The on-site manager was in contact with us before our stay and greeted us warmly upon our arrival. We were very pleased with our condo. It was decorated nicely, roomy, and had everything plus that you could ask for. There were even boogie boards and beach chairs. Nice! We had a nice ocean and pool view. It was just a very short walk to the ocean which we walked along daily. The experience couldn't have been better!

“Sandcastle Condo” Beautiful condo and great host. Have stayed here before and just love the condo. Very clean and up to date. Has everything you need and more.

“It does not get any better than this in Cocoa Beach” There is check-box beneath this text field asking if I'd recommend this vacation rental to a friend. Absolutely not. No way. I'm not telling anybody, I'm keeping this place to myself. We were in town for the annual Cocoa Beach Art Show, plus a class reunion. Rooms were tight in CB, and many of our friends were staying at the local chain hotel/motels. I had first heard about Jackie and Dave's guest cottages a few months ago, but I didn't act. Much to my surprise, it popped up on TA and was available for the weekend. Best move we ever made. The Manatee Suite is over-the-top great. Bordering on kitsch, but not. Beach Kitsch. Brightly painted stucco, manatees, mermaids, sea turtles, and oh that beautiful spacious lanai, about as big as the entire suite. And a koi pond. All enclosed in a very private tropical garden that gives one little incentive to ever leave. There is a very comfy queen bed...a king would be nice, but would seriously cut into the navigation...and a kitchenette/hang-out area with a pull-out perfect for a couple of little ones or just to flop and watch tv (wall mounted flat-screen, extends to full view in either of the two rooms). No stove in the kitchenette, but a fridge and micro, as well as coffee maker and all the basic utensils and plates and drinkware. The Manatee Suite is in the back of the cottage, with the owner's residence and another suite out front. This is perfect, as it provides a buffer from the traffic noise of A1A. Jackie and Dave's little doggie will great you every time you walk by. The gate locks, adding another level of privacy to the beautiful lanai on a sunny day. ;) My wife and I grew up in Cocoa Beach, and return regularly. For some odd reason we'd never heard of the Done Roam Inn Guest Cottages. I hesitate to tell anyone else about it, because it is simply the best place in CB for for a casual vacation. Located one in from the corner of 3d St. North and AIA, it's within walking distance of virtually everything Downtown Cocoa Beach has to offer in terms of restaurants (breakfast, lunch, dinner), bars, coffee shops, you name it. We parked the car and rarely used it. Of course, the beach is right across the street. I mean, like right there. The cottage also comes with a couple beach chairs and extra beach towels. It felt like we were staying with some friends, certainly not in a cold hotel. I think our future plans will be to rent both suites and have a Thanksgiving on the beach. This is a homey and comfy as you'll find in Cocoa Beach...take it from a guy who grew up here and knows his way around this town. My only advice would be to NOT stay here at any of the times we're in town. I'll be sad if the Manatee Suite is not available for us. We showed a few pictures and invited a few friends over and got the same response from every one...jaw dropping, "why didn't we stay here?!" I may be shooting myself in the foot by posting this review, but Jackie and Dave deserve all the positive vibes I can send. In my travels I've found few places that have made me feel so welcome, so at home, than Done Roam Inn. When we checked out, Jackie and my wife shared a hug. I cannot think of one negative thing to post about the place.
