“Amazing!” This was our family trip, 17th year old son, 8 year old daughter, my boyfriend and I. We all enjoyed our stay at this beautiful penthouse. It's beyond words, all the views, the private pool everything was spotless. We will definitely recommend it to everyone. This is a great penthouse for complete families, large group of friends, even for people traveling with only your partner, very quiet and calm. “Fantastic Stay!” Three friends and I stayed in alex's second-story apartment for a long weekend in early March 2013. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Alex was very hospitable and provided everything we needed to be comfortable. The apartment is in a great location, just a few blocks from the beach, the malecon (boardwalk), and various bars. The only downside was the area it was in, but if you dont mind staying outside of the nicer "hotel zone", you will be fine. If you are looking for luxury or something romantic, this would not be the place for you. Next time I go to Puerto Vallarta, I will definitely be staying here again. This is easily the best value I have seen in this area.

“tranquil luxury with a view that lasts forever” my wife and I wanted to stay in the Amapas, Conchas Chinas area to compare staying in the romantic zone yet we wanted to stay within a 15 min walking distance to the romantic zone..... We booked a week at casa de la hoja at a peak time of the season dec. 15-21 and just loved it !!!!....it is a villa with a home environment, everything is amazing: the living room with a picture view of the bay, the deck with the view that lasts forever, two master bedrooms suites so comfortable and both with views of Banderas bay that greet you each morning. The kitchen was equipped with everything for dining at home...so we cooked for several nights and most breakfasts all with amazing views! ....we shopped at Mikey's and the local fish market and made the best meals in PV...this was very special for us! each day we also spent time at the private pool....I think you get the picture.... the walk to town and the beach(romantic zone is about 15 min) so wear good shoes and enjoy the walk. We loved the healthy element of our walks. we took quick inexpensive cab rides back at night and/or with groceries.... Norma and Memo are on premise to take care of anything you need. Staying at Casa De La Hoja made our Puerta Vallarta time an EXPERIENCE thank you Lionel for your help in making this happen. Rob and Sharon Scherer, Sacramento, calif.

“very private pool home” from the first day communication was there with norma and memo and owners lionel and Darwin-thank you. very private- great view of the bay-close to everything-very prompt on any questions but you never see them unless you wanted to. perfect for just wife and I but large enough for two couples. lots of room for a two bedroom home. very clean and lots of both pool and bath towels. we have stayed in homes in pv for the past several years and this is first review we have written- very impressed!

“best holiday in mexico” We had a great time in Puerto Vallarta in a residence with spacious and luxurious comfort air conditioning small pool centrally located in the vile old city, with shops, restaurants, cabaret, beach is very pleasant city in Mexico is very safe day or night and people are really nice is helpful. we made the plunge every day a small village, the background is beautiful with a very serious diving club I recommend this rental to anyone who loves mexico alain and anita de France Haute Savoie)
