“Great house shame it's next to the highway” Beautiful house Excellent facilities Check in was so easy and appreciated after a long flight from the UK The only 2 negatives I have to say about this house are: 1. The location. I wish it didn't look directly onto the highway 2. There is no outdoor balcony, probably because of point 1! We had a great holiday and really enjoyed out stay here

“first vacation w/whole family and residence had activities for a” There were three things that bothered me about your company concerning this reservation,that had nothing to do w/the house. 1]I got a email from your co. stating my reservation would be canceled for nonpayment of balance.you had the payment but mail had not been checked before email sent. 2]called sara on 7/1 stating need lp gas on 7/2 and did not receive till 7/3 3]we locked all doors@packing up.we wanted to double check house thinking to go through keycodeddoor,but could not this door inoperative exact@10 am

“Lovely Condo with an Excellent View” Our family stayed mid Oct and was blessed with great weather. It was our first trip to the Outer Banks. This condo has an amazing oceanfront view with a large furnished balcony. It was clean and well furnished. The owner was very attentive. The location was also excellent- we were within walking distance to several great restaurants. We also enjoyed the nearby Wright Bros Museum. Definitely would stay again.

“Pet-Friendly Destingation” As a 'Pet-Blogger', I am always looking for great places to holiday with our two dogs Henry, and Reese. More specifically, somewhere we can 'enjoy' with the dogs without having to worry about what to do with them when we visit restaurants, shops or go sightseeing. The Dolphin Inn was the perfect place to stay! This trip was arranged as a group get together; my husband, parents, in-laws and sister with her husband and two small children. The spacious accommodation meant no one felt as if they were tripping over one another. Although we didn't eat evening meals as a group, we enjoyed breakfast together at a large table located beside the spacious kitchen on the upper level. Because of the layout and quiet location of the Inn, we were comfortable leaving Henry and Reese to relax comfortably when we went out to do 'people only' things. Our hosts were very helpful with suggestions regarding things to do and see in the area. Upon arrival we found guides with locations and contact information, as well as preferred rates on several activities for guests of the Inn. I am happy to recommend The Dolphin Inn to groups or families with or without dogs!

“Treasure discovered in North Carolina.” We discovered a hidden treasure in the beautiful home of George and Eileen. Everything is at your fingertips, there are no worries...just relax and have fun.The beach is right there, and if you want to stay in, relax in the hot tub.The view is great from up there! “Family Reunion 2012” When I was 9 yrs old my whole family went on a beach trip. It was great. I was able to play with my cousins. We cooked out, and enjoyed each others company. Great memories. Last year my grandmother wanted us to relive that memory but with a new generation. Our children are the same age and everyone was able to attend. The house was fantastic. Having the pool and hot tub was a life saver. It was so close to the grocery store that our cookouts were a breeze. We enjoyed the area greatly. We even were able to have a photographer to meet us and have pictures on the beach. My grandmother said it was the best time of her life. She is 83. Thank you for helping us to make such a wonderful memory for us.

“Our family had a wonderful time at Ivey's Lair” We had eigt adults and eight children from 3 months to eighteen years old. There was never a boring moment and everyone had plenty of room in the house. Whad a week that was in the high 90s, but we loved every minute of it. The 4th of July parade went right by the house, fireworks went off on the beach that were pretty prfessional for the area's private viewing and everyone did as they pleased during the day ( pool, beach, town, pool table, volleyball, or just relaxed) and we all had dinner together or went out. When we go to the house there were a few minor things that had to be taken care of: the gas grill was not there, the outside pool lights were not working, and some inside lights did not work. We called and everything was taken care within two days. The only thing that needs to be address are the two dishwashers. They do not clean the dishes. We wound up doing them by hand. I am not sure if the water is not hot enough for the machines or what. We did not report it, but they now know and I am sure it will be fixed. We can't wait to go back!!!

“The perfect house for a crowd...” This house is so accommodating. Great gathering spaces and great quiet spaces (for when your sibling gets on your last nerve). “Beautiful home with everything you need!” Wow! This home is not only beautiful and spacious but also probably the most well equiped vacation rentals I have ever stayed! This home has everything! I actually brought a crock pot along with me because all of the rentals I have stayed before never has a crock pot. And low and behold, there was a working crock pot in the cabinet. I especially loved the ice maker in the kitchen since we use so much ice and we never ran out. We had some bad weather for a day or two and we had to stay indoors. There were plenty of games, puzzles and movies so we were never bored. The pool table was a bonus. The kids had a blast in the outside pool. Also, the short walk to the beach was a blessing. On a personal note. The family photos sitting around the house gave us a feeling of home.
