“My great holidays on the Samui Island, Thailand. Idyllic Resort.” In the airport I was picked up by the owner of the Idyllic Resort (Hans Beeftink) and his lovely wife (Lana Beeftink). The whole trip from the airport to the Resort takes about 10 minutes. In the Idyllic Resort I was living in the Orchid Villa. That villa is located approximately 100 meters away from the shore. And the whole way from the Villa's door to the beach is pure pleasure: at the beginning you overcome a short distance among palms and blooming bushes of orchids and then the rest of the way it is a long tunnel covered with many coloured flowers and in the end of your short trip to the beach you are met by white, clean sand and by a blue stripe of South China Sea. Probably I should mention that the beach is private and there is no access for strangers. The Orchid Villa consists of two buildings. One building includes a big fully equipped kitchen which is integrated with a cosy living room, a bedroom with a double bed and of course a toilet and a shower. As well that building has a big terrace and a summer bed outside. Another building consists of two bedrooms with toilet, shower and everything what you need for sleeping and nice time being inside of the room. Those two buildings are separated by a swimming pool with two beach beds and lawn. The Resort consists also of other Villas, they are all different but made with great taste and love in order to make you feel yourselves as at home. In the main office which is located right next to the entrance to the Resort, you can find a nice small library which is there because some people have left there many books after their holidays. There are many books in many languages, plus, DVD disks with movies and music. As well in the main office you can find a coffee machine, a fridge with fizzy drinks, high quality alcohol and chocolate. Also the Resort provides so many other services/ options which make you even happier there than you are at that moment of time!

“A perfect place for a perfect holiday” We had a "Mums n Daughters" holiday here - myself, my Mum, my aunty and her daughter. To sum up our stay in one word: bliss. The accommodations are perfect, beds were comfy, rooms were clean and when we had food prepared for us it was outstanding. And I don't think you can beat the view, just amazing. The whole booking process was very smooth, Caran was very helpful and always prompt with responding. I think our stay was made even better with the excellent managers of the villa. Andrew and Pon - we can't thank you enough, you really made our stay. Very friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Book in and I guarantee you'll have an amazing stay. And make sure you arrange for Pon to prepare you a meal - best thai food ever!

“Few days in Paradise” We went there with the aim to stay in a nice house and to discover the island as well. But this place is so nice that we went to the nearby beach only once and spent the rest of our stay within the property, feeling like at home. There is a huge pool, plenty of room to sit back and relax and, last but not least, the food is delicious and prepared by a very nice staff, who made our stay memorable. Why bother to go elsewhere?

“Let's keep it a secret!!!!” Myself and my girlfrind have recently returned from a month whistlestop tour of Thailand, including 3*, 4* and 5* hotels and Lotus Terraces was undoubtably the most amazing place of them all. From the personal mobile phone and stocked fridge on arrival right through to our checkout, we thoroughly felt like we were the only visitors on the Island. Immaculate Villa and immaculate service in every way. My only concern is that my girlfriend is now talking about getting married so she can have the wedding here - Lotus you are too good!! “Best place on Earth” This is a copy of a letter we wrote to the Staff of the Lotus Terraces after our return visit in april. This place is perfect with everything anyone could want away from the crowds of Chaweng Beach, I think my letter to them says it all Well where can I begin to thank this place and their staff. To Ton thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for all that you did to organise the most perfect end to our holiday, it was such a pity you could not catch up with us this time, you are more than welcome in our home in australia anytime you wish to visit. Jan and Sue you go over and beyond what any staff of any other establishment have ever done for us to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed sitting and having a friendly conversation with you Jane and hope to do it again in the future. Lastly but never least to Rose, you are a true asset to the Lotus Terraces and our visits would not be the same without you. Your dedication to your work the care you take of us and your endless commitment to make sure we relax and enjoy ourselves no matter what time of the day or night is appreciated more than you realise.
