“Beautiful, relaxing and better than expected” Living in thailand i have rented many villas on different islands throughout thailand. choco villa is one of the best i've stayed in. it's close enough to walk to local restaurants in 10min and far enough away from the town to feel like you have peace and quiet. my family and I loved our stay and the staff was kind and very helpful. i highly recommend staying here. “My great holidays on the Samui Island, Thailand. Idyllic Resort.” In the airport I was picked up by the owner of the Idyllic Resort (Hans Beeftink) and his lovely wife (Lana Beeftink). The whole trip from the airport to the Resort takes about 10 minutes. In the Idyllic Resort I was living in the Orchid Villa. That villa is located approximately 100 meters away from the shore. And the whole way from the Villa's door to the beach is pure pleasure: at the beginning you overcome a short distance among palms and blooming bushes of orchids and then the rest of the way it is a long tunnel covered with many coloured flowers and in the end of your short trip to the beach you are met by white, clean sand and by a blue stripe of South China Sea. Probably I should mention that the beach is private and there is no access for strangers. The Orchid Villa consists of two buildings. One building includes a big fully equipped kitchen which is integrated with a cosy living room, a bedroom with a double bed and of course a toilet and a shower. As well that building has a big terrace and a summer bed outside. Another building consists of two bedrooms with toilet, shower and everything what you need for sleeping and nice time being inside of the room. Those two buildings are separated by a swimming pool with two beach beds and lawn. The Resort consists also of other Villas, they are all different but made with great taste and love in order to make you feel yourselves as at home. In the main office which is located right next to the entrance to the Resort, you can find a nice small library which is there because some people have left there many books after their holidays. There are many books in many languages, plus, DVD disks with movies and music. As well in the main office you can find a coffee machine, a fridge with fizzy drinks, high quality alcohol and chocolate. Also the Resort provides so many other services/ options which make you even happier there than you are at that moment of time!

“Everything was great” everything was well described, the place was so beautiful, the sea view was most wonderful, it looks really like the pictures from. “Let's keep it a secret!!!!” Myself and my girlfrind have recently returned from a month whistlestop tour of Thailand, including 3*, 4* and 5* hotels and Lotus Terraces was undoubtably the most amazing place of them all. From the personal mobile phone and stocked fridge on arrival right through to our checkout, we thoroughly felt like we were the only visitors on the Island. “The Ultimate Island Escape” Villa M must be the most beautiful place for a relaxing holiday possible. Right on a beach, surrounded by palm trees, islands in the distance, and Fisherman Village shops and restaurants close by. It has the best location on Samui and 6 days there was the ultimate island escape. Each of the 5 bedrooms has its own bathroom, and with 2 living areas, we all had our space. The staff are all friendly and discreet and the villa manager can arrange for anything that you want to see or do. Continental Breakfast provided, including selection fresh tropical fruit. Each night we visited one of the many restaurants in Fisherman's Village, even ate at some of the stalls, all within easy walking distance of the villa But you can choose to stay in and eat your meals at home, which we did on the last night.The Chef prepared for us probably the best Thai food we have eaten anywhere in the world. It rained a couple of days, but we still managed to enjoy ourselves in this beautiful home reading, watching Dvd's, looking at the magnificent view. Relaxing is what holidays are about. Liked-everything about Villa M, especially the location. Disliked: that we were only there for 6 days !

“Amazing holiday villa with incredible hosts” Myself and two friends stayed in the five room Villa Mia for 7 days in May. The villa grounds were immaculate and were constantly maintained by the groundskeeper. The pool was massive and clean. The villa is approximately 1km from town you could walk but we easily organised scooters through our private concierge. The house is massive with each of the five rooms having a bathroom, and the property is set right on the beach. Apart from the villa being incredible the staff at this villa were AMAZING. The chef cooked restaurant quality Thai meals every day I dont think we ate out once, seafood dishes caught and bought and then cooked at the villa . He could cook anything you asked for and would go shopping for ingredients based on our requests. The concierge Joy went above and beyond any of our expectations. I was like having a mindreader and a mum who would organise everything we needed scooters, taxis, suggestions for dinner, shed remind us of what we might need to take with us when we went out, and she always did it was a smile. She went as far as unpacking our suitcases and putting them away, and then when we left she washed and put our clothes back in the suitcase. One day we followed Joy around on a private scooter tour around the island. I just cant stress enough how amazing Joy was it was so easy to relax that we really didn't want to leave and was trying to rack my brain on how we could take her home with us. Id highly recommend this villa you wont be disappointed.

“Great place - October 2010” It was our second visit to Lotus Terraces and we again truly enjoyed our stay. The villas are beautiful, the staff is great, friendly and very helpful. We love the place off-season for its calm and serenity. If you need a break from the city buzz this place is for you. We definitely hope to return soon.

“Best place on Earth” This is a copy of a letter we wrote to the Staff of the Lotus Terraces after our return visit in april. This place is perfect with everything anyone could want away from the crowds of Chaweng Beach, I think my letter to them says it all Well where can I begin to thank this place and their staff. To Ton thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for all that you did to organise the most perfect end to our holiday, it was such a pity you could not catch up with us this time, you are more than welcome in our home in australia anytime you wish to visit. Jan and Sue you go over and beyond what any staff of any other establishment have ever done for us to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed sitting and having a friendly conversation with you Jane and hope to do it again in the future. Lastly but never least to Rose, you are a true asset to the Lotus Terraces and our visits would not be the same without you. Your dedication to your work the care you take of us and your endless commitment to make sure we relax and enjoy ourselves no matter what time of the day or night is appreciated more than you realise.
