“everything you need on a quiet one-way street minutes from the p” I came to Sayulita to chill back out after two weeks in Mexico City. Travelling alone, wanting to cook for myself sometimes & taking some on-line courses, this lovely open space met all my needs. Maria was very responsive to my inquiries & made me feel right at home. The place is minutes walk to the plaza, beach & stores while being hidden away from traffic & the noise all the people having a great time in town are making. The crowing roosters are the main soundtrack & I love that! Halfway up a hill so a nice breeze keeps it cool & offers nice views out over greenery and other local homes. There's another space for two along the same balcony, so you could rent out both units & have privacy and easy connection.

Great location, huge house, excellent caretaker.

Myself and three friends stayed at Karen's house in Lo de Marcos over the holidays this year, and it was definitely five stars. The place is huge with multiple balconies and an open rooftop for eating, drinking, and hanging out as the sun sets. The caretaker Sergio was always there when needed and the town itself is a welcome relief from the overly touristy areas closer to PV (Sayulita, San Pancho). The surf break doesn't work at Lo de Marcos unless there's big swell, but if you have a car, La Lancha, Burrows and other breaks are no more than 30 minutes away. The place also had wifi which was quite a luxury when it came to looking up surf reports, things to do, etc. Karen was very helpful with recommendations on what to see and do in town, and quite flexible when our time of arrival changed, which was super helpful. A relaxing getaway with a gorgeous view of the ocean

What an adventure we had! When we booked the house we were looking for a true local experience not the typical tourist vacation. We loved the remote beaches, and the authentic towns to go explore. Their were even beach equipment available (paddle boards, boogie boards, surf boards, and kayaks) all free for us to use. Driving through the little village to get to the house was a great experience for my kids, and made our off the beaten path vacation even better. Zip Lining through the jungle with MiChaparrita in Sayulita, was so amazing and my kids are still talking about it. We also had the most spectacular time on the ally Cat catamaran ride, it was worth every penny. We saw Whales and Dolphins through out the day, and enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking and had great food and service. We would definitely book it again. When we viewed the video of the house I thought it looked so spectacular little did I know that it was even better in person! Every detail in this house was incredible, clearly much thought went into the materials and decor used. The open living floor plan is comfortable and reveals the most spectacular panoramic view. We were welcomed on our arrival with cold beverages and snacks and a coordinator was there to answer any questions we had and even helped to book our excursions. If you like to cook, the kitchen is a chefs dream. We loved the fact that we were picked up in a spacious suburban at the airport, and our rental car was delivered the next day. I was surprised that they even had free internet, and each morning we had a wonderful complimentary continental breakfast freshly prepared. The bedrooms are large and comfortable (with air conditioning). The house is hugely spacious and very private. We will definitely be booking this house for another vacation. … see more
