“Excellent Duplex well located and beatifully appointed” We stayed at the Duplex on 9th for 4 nights during a two week vacation visiting la/Vegas/SanFran. The Duplex is in an excellent location within a short drive to all the tourist sites; Chinese Theatre/ Rodeo Drive / Beverly Hills / Universal Studios / Santa Monica / Venice Beach...need I go on? Although in the city the Duplex is in a rather nice leafy suburb with no road noise or traffic at all (amazing for la). Inside, the Duplex has been beautifully renovated. We loved the space, the decor and the overal ambience. The bed was huge and very comfy and our kids slept well in the twin beds. Overall I have no hesitation recommending the Duplex to anyone and will certainly stay there again if we ever return. Ps. Thanks to Lori for kindly posting back to the UK a bunch of clothes my wife left in a drawer!

“Best Place to stay for Disney Land with large groups” We needed a property with accommodations for 10 people including children to stay as close to Disney Land as possible. I searched on the internet and found this property. I contacted the property owner- Vali and explained our requirements that we needed for our group. After several phone calls and discussions we decided to book the property with Vali. We all had the best time ever as the property was very clean, had a nice swimming pool, was very close to Disney Land, area was nice and quiet in the evening so we could all get a good nights sleep to hit Disney Land the next day early in the morning. We saved quite a bit of money by staying here as compared to staying in several hotel rooms. Hope this helps in making your choice to stay at this property. In fact call Vali and tell him Bert recommended his place and ask him for a discount - He may even give it to you.

“Hollywood Hills gem” Stay among the Stars is a marvelous guesthouse in the lovely Hollywood Hills. This small 2 bedroom cottage is a wonderful, quiet retreat, located above the busy city of L.A., just minutes from Hollywood. The house is comfortable and welcoming. It is picturesque, colorful and well thought out. You have your own private entry way and courtyard. The living room is cozy, and overlooks a garden and the top of Runyon Canyon. There is a lovely back garden, accessible off the 2nd bedroom, planted with flowers, herbs and vegetables. And the master bedroom is spacious and the king sized bed reasonably comfortable. There is plenty of shelf space in the bathroom and closets. And the cottage has a marvelous DVD collection. The owner lives next door, and is accessible, yet private. Frances made us feel most welcome, and well looked after. We felt completely safe here, but you will need a car; nothing is within walking distance. This is a residential neighborhood, with no shops or restaurants close by. Be advised that the only bathroom is located within the master bedroom, so whoever stays in the 2nd bedroom has to come through the master bedroom to use the facilities. Also, the tub is rather awkward and high. It is somewhat difficult to climb in. But if you don't mind these 2 things, I highly recommend Stay among the Stars. Our family will definitely return.

“Convenient, Clean and Comfortable” We were given all the information we needed before the trip so that when we arrived we were able to get into the apartment without any trouble. The manager, Zizi, was very helpful when we had questions and very pleasant. The apartment was as described, slept six very comfortably. We were able to walk to local Trader Joe's and Starbucks (4 blocks) and we walked the Walk of Fame. We had to attend an event at the L.A. Convention Center and it was about a 30 minute drive with traffic. Parking was provided free as well as washer/driver facilities. We will definitely stay here again if we come back.

“Shangri-La...an earthly paradise...” This place was amazing! Albert and Frank were awesome hosts. They were very helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay, a place we immediately renamed "Shangri-La." The scenic view of tropical vegetation from the loft bedroom's balcony was everything! The shower was like being in a spa. A great get away! Would definitely stay here again!

“Great spot to explore la” The apartment in Hollywood is as it is listed. Cozy, clean and in close proximity to public transport, attractions, eating places and shops. Quiet location with all the things you need for a comfortable apartment stay.

“We Loved it !!” The Cottage was lovely , clean and comfortable. The pool was refreshing and beautiful. The area is beautiful , big trees lots of flowers, many birds visit the yard. Our host Michael was friendly and offered insite into a local breakfast place that we really liked. The cottage was centrally located for visiting our family .

“Felt like home” Me and my friend stayed for 2 and half weeks, and we just had the best time in LA, and the apartment helpt especially. we felt safe and very comfy. We come from Holland, and had never been to California before. The host helped us before we came there and during our stay with a lot of information. The apartment has everything you can wish for on vacation. Nice bed, good couch, tv with every channel you can think of, little terrace and a good kitchen with all sorts of appliences and a really nice bathroom. Also its really close to all kinds of restaurants ( italian restaurant marco's. 5 min drive) and shops, but especially close to the grove and farmers market which is a really nice place to eat (try the cheesecake factory! Ask for a terrace seat, its so nice outside) or to go shopping. It also has a really pretty and big cinema.
