“Always a Pleasure” We just returned from our third visit to above the Inlet B & B. As always, it was immaculate, quiet, and an enjoyable stay. This is our home away from home. We have family in Sechelt and so we always appreciate staying at above the Inlet when we come to visit. Peter and Patricia are wonderful inns keepers and we are so thankful for their B & B.

“Great vacation home” We've stayed at this place in both winter and summer. It's close to the airport, the town of Hailey, and a river for fly fishing. It's just a short drive to Sun Valley for winter sports fun in the winter and to Red Fish Lake for some fun in the sun in the summer. The cabin itself is great for gatherings of friends and family with three bedrooms and a loft, plus a nice deck and yard to hang out in the summer and nice fireplace to hang around in the winter. We've had some great times here and highly recommend the place.

“Wonderful place to relax!” The property was supurb, room very well decorated and comfortable. Our hosts were great! Breakfast was wonderful. I would definitely come back again...

“Very nice place to stay” During our roundtrip through the area we found this B&B on the internet. Called in advance by phone and had a good response from the host, Nicole. The B&B was also well known by the local tourist office and they explained us how to get there even though we received good directions from Nicole. After a warm welcome we were amazed by the modern state of the room, its space and the available amenities. For example the well equiped kitchen, modern and large bathroom, wireless internet, livingroom with modern flatscreen and plenty TV channels, quite and spacious bedroom, BBQ and much more. The pricing was good for the season. The B&B is situated in the outskirts of the village. Quite neighbourhood. Although we stayed just one night we did enjoyed some of the local attractions in the area and would sure come back during wintertime to enjoy the local ski possibilities instead of the overcrowded Whistler area!! i.e. Worth to stay, spend some time in the area and don't pay the top price for a very complete B&B.

“Vancouver Island Paradise!!” We had our wedding at this guest house and stayed here for a week. The scenery at the house is absolutely beautiful. It is right on the ocean and has a beautiful view of Quadra Island. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio by day and relaxing by the fire at night. The house was very clean and comfortable. We had our extended family staying at the house with us and they also had nothing but positive things to say about it. There is more then enough room for several people to stay here. The owner went the extra mile for us. There were fresh flowers throughout the house, a book with suggestions for things to do in town and things in the kitchen for the guests to use. Anna (the owner) was great. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. We really enjoyed getting to know her! She's a great cook and hostess! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have no problem recommending this place to anyone. Thanks so much anna for a great week!

“Gorgeous! Looking forward to our next visit.” We stayed here for a week. It was a lovely place for us the stay. The kids had a wonderful time playing around the garden. It is a lovely garden with many paths leading here and there to traverse. There are many lovely places to sit and enjoy the view or simply to take a casual stroll though and enjoy the serenity. So first the gardens are wonderful. The amount of work to maintain these is wonderful and I really enjoyed talking with Diana about different aspects of gardening. She gave us a tour all around and we all enjoyed that. The house is older and has lots of charm. The kids loved the bedrooms upstairs. The one is smaller and just seemed the right size for the little ones. All the bed were very comfortable and had lovely bedding, nice smooth sheets and down duvets. We were all very comfortable at night. The kitchen was great the stove and fridge worked well and there was lots of pots and pans for us to use. There is a BBQ and outdoor grill also available. Great for cooking crabs! The view from the property is breathtaking. Its been a couple weeks now and I still miss sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Such a lovely relaxing place to stay. We look forward to our next trip. Lastly the jewel of the Boxwood Cottage is Diana herself. She is right next door if you need any info but I never felt that she was intrusive. Very quickly I felt like we were visiting an old friend. She is very busy with the gardens and keeping up the property but was always willing to chat with us and even joke a little with the kids. Looking forward to going back again soon!

“Peaceful Oasis” We had the extreme pleasure of staying at Patricia and Scott's condo. What a magical place. The location could not have been better. Waking up in the morning with the ocean alongside the master bedroom and then spending the day gazing out at the unobstructed views. It took me an hour to jealously wander about the condo in awe of all of the perfect details. Everything was though of - you could easily host a dinner party for 8 here and not be missing a thing. We have stayed at the most exclusive resorts on the Island, but never have we felt as if we were truly coming "home" when we returned to our suite, like we did here. We have adopted the condo, and I have adopted the perfectly situated chaise lounge for hours of reading and gazing. It is dead quiet, with lots to observe in the ocean... that bay is always changing. We did a short (6km) hike nearby and strolled on the beach. Dug up and steamed clams as well as shucked oysters off the beach and pan fried them. Cannot wait to return! Thanks Patricia and Scott! “A Little Taste of Heaven” This was our 8th trip to the Resort, and have stayed in this condo the last 5 years...What a wonderful place to stay and get some rest & relaxation. The resort is beautiful & there's always something to see & do if you wish. The condo is all you can possibly want - large & airy, well-furnished and a great kitchen! The views are spectacular and you feel as if you are the only ones there. The privacy of this unit is great - yet you're close to everything - firepit by the water, pool, hot tub, tennis courts, bbq patio and even a kiddie play area. During our month here we saw pods of whales, seals, otters, hummingbirds & lots of eagles from our balcony. We even went clamming @ low tide and had 3 feasts of crab caught off the end of the dock! What more could you ask for? This place is what we consider a little taste of heaven on the west coast, and after a month here, returning to ONtario makes us look forward to returning again next spring.
