“Great place!” I loved staying at this condo. The unit has recently been renovated and was very clean. The studio side has a view of the mountain and is located just steps from the ski slopes and among the shops and restaurants. The bedroom has its own bathroom and television and the bed was very comfortable. The living room area is roomy and has a very comfortable queen murphy bed that folds out of the wall if needed. The unit also has a second bathroom and a well-stocked kitchenette with nice appliances. There are also balconies off of both the living room and the bedroom overlooking the skating rink. The unit couldn't be any more conveniently located for skiing; it's located right next to the lift ticket windows and is practically on the payday run. It is also right by a bus stop which was nice because I didn't rent a car but was still able to get around town to meet friends, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone.

“Family Birthday Bash” I wanted to do something special for my husband's 65th birthday, and since his greatest pleasure in life is to have his children at his table, even though costly I decided to rent a house for all of us in Branson (since that is his favorite place in all of the world). His son and daughter in law flew into Springfield from Virginia, and the rest of the children and grandchildren also came. there were 12 of us. What a wonderful house! What a wonderful Time! Everything you need is there. It is clean, and plenty of room for everyone! Pool table in the basement, with a fooseball table, and wii. Grandkids thought they were in heaven. Thank you! Money could never replace the Great time we enjoyed. The "hill" is overwhelming, but after a few times it became normal.

“Great location!” We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was comfortable, clean, and warm, which was great since it was New Year's Eve!! It is close to some great local hiking and shopping, like Brasstown Bald, Hiawasee, Appalachian Trail. Perfect for families with kids (young or older).

“Fantastic weekend in lake arrowhead!” We had a wonderful time in arrowhead at this cabin with a group of friends. The house was huge, in wonderful shape, and the owners were on call as soon as we got there for any questions. The only issue we had was that the ipod hookup didn't work, but the owners were very attentive in helping us configure a different music system. Overall, awesome. Bring your own ipod speakers, and if it is snowing bring tire chains or they won't let you drive up (we had a few guests who got stuck). We would 100% go back to this house! Perfect weekend!

“Great base for Florida Holiday” The house and location were great. The heated pool was perfect for our children who would have spent the entire holiday in it if we had let them. The service was great and communication from the owner just right. We would stay here again if we returned to the area.

“Fantastic holiday villa” Communication with owners was fantastic from enquiry to booking and return home. The villa was luxurious and we had a fantastic family stay, from relaxing at the villa in the pool to visiting local theme parks, location was great , quiet estate and handy for local amenities!!! We would definitely visit again, very spacious, excellent facilities including washing machine, dishwasher, plenty of storage and bedrooms were fantastic. Games room was a real hit with the kids along with the pool. We all really enjoyed the villa.

“Beautiful Family Memories” We stayed in the Snow Basin condo in March, 2011 with our 6 and 7 year old children for a fabulous family ski trip. The condo was beautifully appointed and we had everything we needed and more. It was very convenient to all of the ski areas as well as to the grocery store and restaurants. For a little more variety it was just a short drive to indoor sky-diving, movie theaters, and a wonderful children's museum. We were glad to see them during a day when the snow was falling so heavily that we did not want to ski. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious. The complex was very quiet and we were never disturbed by loud neighbors like the time we went to Taos, NM to ski. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home for a family vacation!

“Superb orlando villa - fantastic family home away from home” This was our first ever booking with HomeAway/VRBO and we were immediately drawn by the description, photos and other reviews on the site for Lakeview House. We decided to go for it (a family of 3 adults, 2 children) and the booking process was seamless - Derek, the owner, was in constant touch and with very useful information ahead of arrival. Although our flight from the UK had a bit of a glitch (meaning we arrived in the dead of night) we found the place without issue. There is always a nagging doubt with 'owner direct' type sites that pictures can be taken to flatter, or camera angles used to conceal. However, this is completely without warrant in this case and I can categorically guarantee that what you see in the pictures is absolutely what you get in real life! Think that wonderful vista over the lake behind Mickey and Minnie framing the fountain is an illusion? Absolutely not, it's that fantastic. Think the pictures of the pool and spa look too good to be true? Well believe it, we enjoyed them to the full. Games room really that capable? Oh yes, my son and I enjoyed the pool table and the air hockey immensely. This villa was perfect, and as travellers a long way from home, it was a joy to stay in. Location was excellent - to the west end of the '192' so great for driving to the parks and in a quiet and tidy residential street. As there is no-one immediately to the right of this villa (there's a small 'inlet' from the lake) there is a 'semi-detached' feel to it which adds to the sense of open-ness and space when out the back. Facilities were superb, kitchen well appointed, TVs everywhere. Missing 'ice hockey' pucks were spotted before we arrived and dealt with proactively - this villa is clearly well managed and Derek gave us a ring mid-stay to check everything was ok. Beds were comfy and air con and fans meant the villa was always a welcome and refreshing haven at the end of tough day in the parks. It was an intense two weeks for us as a family, as we were doing the Disney and Universal 'thing' to the max but the villa was everything we hoped for and more. We whole-heartedly recommend this villa either as a base for doing the Orlando 'Madness' or simply as somewhere to stay 24/7 and soak up the sun quietly. We will certainly return, God-willing, and if you're reading this and tempted to book, go ahead and bon vacances! Thanks you Derek and Julie for sharing your home with us. “A very welcoming home.” Our second stay and as great as the first time. A decorated Christmas tree greeted us, which was very nice. There was a bottle of wine to celebrate the New Year. The heated pool and hot tub were great. The home was near shopping and it didn't take us long to drive to the attractions. All in all we all enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable home. “Home away from home” I own my own business, so any time away is especially precious. Kilkelly's West Wing Cottage was the perfect fit. Unlike the institutional feel of a hotel room, the West Wing is like a home away from home. Immediately, we felt comfortable and relaxed. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well kept. The rooms were equipped with every possible item anyone would need, even a tea kettle and grill accessories for the gas grill. The commercial like ice maker was an unexpected surprise. They even provided a small cooler for day trips. Normally in a hotel room, I am loathe to touch anything and notice the dirt and traces of previous guests. Immediately you can see how clean and welcoming the West Wing is - I had no hesitation using any of the amenities. We are very picky travelers and the West Wing exceeded our expectations. The breakfast casserole was so good I even got the recipe! There are several televisions with satellite, DVD, Blue-Ray, etc - available but we never even turned them on. It was so relaxing enjoying the sunrise, sunset and mountain views, we had no need for the outside world. We would not hesitate to come back and highly recommend the West Wing! :)
