“Fabulous place to stay!” We recently stayed in this cottage for 3 nights and we really enjoyed ourselves. The short walk to the plaza and theaters was ideal, but we were most impressed by how clean and well-maintained the cottage was. The cottage is on the property of the Hersey House Bed and Breakfast Inn and the hosts were very welcoming, and they deliver a morning continental breakfast tray. We especially liked the warm raspberry crumble with sweet cream and it was nice because we enjoyed 3 breakfast trays and each morning we were served something different. We really like the cottage and it was super easy with our kids because there were two bedrooms and it was handy to have the kitchen. We will definitely be back!

“Magical!!!” My husband and I have stayed at Croney Cove several times (both in the summer and winter) and it truly is like living in a fairy tale. The beautiful antique filled and well stocked guest house is tucked in the mountains with a covered bridge and the rushing Bigwood river just steps outside the door. We took a soak in one of 2 geothermal heated tubs under a star filled sky and then jumped in our provided plush robes and sat by the outdoor fireplace,nightcap in hand. The hospitality is amazing and Lisa makes you feel as if you are the only one on earth. We have had both breakfast and dinner upon request and it was over the top delicious and all beautifully served. It truly is a magical place and we can't wait to get back!

“Comfort” The stay was overall very comfortable with the serenity of the island along with the comfort of a fully equipped house. From major things like the clean kitchen, bedrooms, patio to small things like poking rod next to the fire place, board games and balls next to the court were all very delighting. Enjoyed every bit of it and had a wonderful time in Orcas Island thanks to Cedar Field Vacation House. The only con was the complexity of the heating system to a person who hasn't used something like that before. It got toasty in the middle of the night as the settings automatically defaulted to a higher temperature after a particular time.

“Perfect place for a family Thanksgiving” A perfect place for a family Thanksgiving celebration. The cabin is beautiful, well-appointed, and full of things to do -- sleds, snowshoes, music, movies, books, games, and puzzles galore. We had perfect snow, a well-stocked kitchen, and beauty all around us. The sunsets are spectacular from the cabin. The fireplace is cozy, the upstairs loft a perfect place for the kids to play. “We loved it!” Cosy Cottage is a very nice place to stay. We really enjoyed our 3 nights there. It is close enough to the sites in the area to be convenient but it is tucked away in a country setting so it is quiet and refreshing. It is private and extremely clean, neat and well kept. Each of us was enthralled with the wondrous setting that "Below the Falls Lodge" calls its homestead. The gentle whooshing of the creek, the calls of the birds, and the sweet swaying of the trees rocked us into a natural harmony filled with happiness and contentment. You've created such a beautiful and imaginative home! It is so in tune with the gorgeous surroundings that it feels like the house itself is alive and growing out of the mountain. What an awesome achievement! You've thought of every detail to make a home that seems to anticipate its inhabitants' needs.
