“Great things do come in small packages” Thanks to Angelika and Rob for their hospitality. Latoria guest suite is ideally situated in a location easily accessible to amenities but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of greater Victoria. You can find yourself in either suburbia, downtown Victoria, or hiking the southern coast of the island all within a 30 minute drive. Olympic View G.C. is right across the road and it was tough for me not to wonder over daily for a round or two. The home comforts provided were valuable during our two week stay while a family member attended Royal Roads University. The building is quiet which is great for studying or rest and relaxation as was our case. Being located in the same building as Red Barn Market was excellent so we were able to quickly pick food items up. Would definitely return in the future.

“The Perfect Getaway!” I cannot say enough about Ron and Judy O’Brien and their beautiful vacation suite. We just returned from spending 10 days in beautiful Victoria. The suite was so comfortable and had everything we could imagine. Ron and Judy met us when we arrived and familiarized us with our accommodations. They were more than happy to give us some tips on what to see and where to visit, they even suggested some local musical talent that we enjoyed very much. Thanks to both Ron and Judy, our visit was effortless. This was our first experience renting privately. We own several time shares and vacation exclusively through them, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. Our stay was exceptional. Thank you Ron and Judy. We hope to see you again sometime. “Relaxation, comfort and all things to make you feel welcomed into this hidden oasis..” Perfect little get away from every day life. Where there are lots of stores and the market on Saturdays with local artisans, craft people. Along side fresh flowers, fruit and vegetables that are vibrant. Mount Maxwell has a stunning view with great trails and St, Mary's Lake is an incredible view. Coffee shops and restaurants with a beautiful harbour to walk around.. most enjoyable energy on this island.

“Beautiful, relaxing, charming - just the best!” Xanadu Estate is a short scenic ride north of Victoria. When we arrived at the property we were greeted by Jane who was an incredibly welcoming host. The property is set on beautiful acreage that was covered with all the wonderful colors of fall. The suite offered everything that one could want for a relaxing vacation. (It is just as the pictures show - large, comfortable, clean with all the amenities you could possibly want.)I was sorry that we were not able to stay a bit longer. It is only a short drive to many small communities, restaurants, shopping and the ferries. Around the corner is a wonderful little lavendar farm. Nothing could be better than to explore during the day and then come back to your wonderful suite to sit and relax with a glass of wine or a cup of English tea looking out over the beautiful view. I would love to return in the summer so that I could take advantage of all the wonderful outdoor activities that are available in the area. I would definitely recommend Xanadu to everyone - singles, couples, friends and families.

“Beautifully appointed sea side serenity!” The beach house is absolutely beautiful! The B&B; suite retains much of it's original rustic charm with the large natual log columns and brick, then absolutely beautifully appointed modern decor to complete the warm welcome feel of this suite. Shelly will do nothing but spoil you while you stay in this little peace of west coast paradise. Take a stroll through the old school english style gardens and pathways in the rear of the Beach House. This is absolutely enchanting . . . and . . . if you look very very closely you may be one of the lucky ones to catch a glimpse of the fairies that live in the wood. If the suite and gardens aren't enough to relax your weary body then stroll across the street to Salish Sea Beach House's private little piece of the sea, for a stroll down the beach where Shelly hunts for "Sea Glass". I can't say enough about how absolutely beautiful this B&B; location is, how relaxing you will find it, and how wonderfully Shelly will take care of your needs.

“Nothing was too much trouble” A lovely apartment in a quiet spot but convenient for local shops, the airport and ferry, and 20 minutes drive from downtown Victoria. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Kirk and Gloria were lovely hosts and we felt confident that if there was anything we needed then nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting family and seeing a few sights. It was nice to have a place where we could just come and go (own entrance) without any bother. Gloria kindly drove me to the airport to pick up my hire car - she just offered. Good for a family of 4. Bedrooms were a good size and the lounge had plenty of space. I'd happily stay there again.

“Comfort” The stay was overall very comfortable with the serenity of the island along with the comfort of a fully equipped house. From major things like the clean kitchen, bedrooms, patio to small things like poking rod next to the fire place, board games and balls next to the court were all very delighting. Enjoyed every bit of it and had a wonderful time in Orcas Island thanks to Cedar Field Vacation House. The only con was the complexity of the heating system to a person who hasn't used something like that before. It got toasty in the middle of the night as the settings automatically defaulted to a higher temperature after a particular time.

“An answer to prayer.” We needed a house large enough to accommodate our party of seven from England in Bellingham for our daughter's wedding. We found Erik extremely helpful when sorting out the booking and also during our week long stay. The house is beautiful and in a very peaceful area close to Whatcom Falls. The hot tub was very popular as was the barbeque. The weather was good and we were fascinated by the deer who wandered through the garden. We were made to feel very welcome by Erik and we were able to relax and enjoy what was a very busy week for us leading up to the wedding. We have no hesitation whatsoever in highly recommending this vacation home.

“Wow your place is such a restful spot” Jeannie, we can't thank you enough for hosting my wife and I recently at Beachwood Cottage. Your place was everything that we could have hoped for and more. It was the perfect nest for us to relax in the sun, breath in the ocean-fresh air, observe the birds and wild life and pick fresh tasty vegetables from your garden for our salad.
