“Wonderful beach condo with amazing ocean views” I stayed at Audrey and Eric's condo during Hangout Music Fest, and it was a comfortable place to sleep, eat, get work done, and enjoy the view of the ocean. Checking in and out was hassle-free, as was communicating with the owners. Definitely a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy some time on the beach.

“Paradise by the beach!” 1203 is a beautiful unit with awesome views, access to two pools & hot tubs, and easy access to the Beach via a covered walkway. Very clean and well maintained and the owners were great to work with. Lots of good restaurants and shopping opportunities close by. Loved it, and hope to be able to make it my home away from home again soon!

“Best View Ever” This was a very nice condo at the beach! Most condos only offer a view facing the beach but this unit has a clear long distance view all the way to Ft Morgan from inside the unit, the beach view and the Lagoon in the back. Windows surrounded the living room and kitchen while there were two sliding doors that opened to balconies on both sides. The condo was very nicely furnished including flat screen televisions, the property had a number of pools onsite and it was close to nice places to eat.

“It's Delightful, It's Delicious, It's De-lovely!” One would think that Cole Porter wrote those lyrics after visiting Ye Olde Manor House! The owners, Karen Fulbright-Anderson and John anderson, are a delightful, warm, welcoming couple. They are so friendly and engaging that you feel at home almost as soon as you arrive. And their home reminds me of an English Country Cottage with the many comfortable seating areas and nooks and crannies expected. There is also a beautiful green lawn with several flowering beds and many lovely spots for sitting. But the piece de resistance of the public areas is the year-round indoor/outdoor pool, with a depth of no more than 5 feet, which makes it perfect for swimmers and non-swimmers (me) alike. First, and most importantly, each guest room has it's own private bath stocked with lovely smelling potions and lotions, big, soft, fluffy bath towels and anything else that you might need. Second, the rooms are lovely. I stayed in the 'Oak Room', which is filled with antique oak furniture and is perfect for one person. There is a chair for reading, a beautiful antique trunk that you can sit on use for your luggage and antique lamps, doilies and trinkets. There were two other guest rooms nearby, but I slept like a baby and never heard anyone else! The breakfast that John and Karen offer negates the need for lunch! You have a choice of Vegan, Vegetarian or the Meat and Dairy eaters breakfast, and everything they prepare is delicious! Finally, there are plenty of other things to do nearby-walking around the Lake, hiking, visiting the quaint Town of Elkhorn, attending concerts and, my favorite, antique fairs!! My long weekend at Ye Olde Manor House was so enjoyable and relaxing that it left me feeling as though I'd spent a week at a spa. Writing about it is making me feel the same way all over again. I can't wait to visit again!!!

“Amazing!” I really enjoyed stay in this condo. It is confortable and beautiful!

“Nice place and good Landlord” We have group of 9 people spent 4 days at this property in March 13 We all have a wonderful time. The house is in good shape, landlord is very responsible and easy to work with. They have a private dock and boat.

“Couldn't ask for more!” This rental cottage was extremely well equipped and spotless. The owners were very hospitable and were available for all our needs including questions concerning the Camden area. The lawn and gardens were well maintained. We spent many evenings sitting in the adirondack chairs on the front lawn and many mornings enjoying our coffee on the back deck. The location was ideal as we could walk into town to shop, sight see and sit by the harbor and watch the boats while enjoying an ice cream from a nearby ice cream shop. We were four senior citizens looking for a quiet, comfortable and friendly locale and we found it here. We all said we would definitely return to Camden and stay at this home-away-from-home again.

“Va vacation” Nice, quite and very private. Plenty of room. Internet signal in and out but expected in the mountains.

“A very welcoming home.” Our second stay and as great as the first time. A decorated Christmas tree greeted us, which was very nice. There was a bottle of wine to celebrate the New Year. The heated pool and hot tub were great. The home was near shopping and it didn't take us long to drive to the attractions. All in all we all enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable home. “Southbridhe” Loved the new upgrade to the town home .. As always a quiet community and a great place to stay.. I would suggest any of my friends or family to stay there. Extremely happy with my stay.

“A very relaxing and beautiful place.” The owners are very organized and friendly. Our cabin was very relaxing with great scenery and all the amenities of home plus more. The large deck was very nice with lots of seating, the hot tub, and outside stereo speakers. The location is tucked back in a beautiful secluded area. The directions they provided were easy to follow. We look forward to our next visit so we can enjoy fishing in the lake. The weather wasn't very cooperative (rainy) but it was still a perfect place to rest, relax and enjoy a good book!

“Great home to stay at while in Texas hillcountry!” My wife and I stayed at this home for a few days in September. The property was very nice, and quiet. The house was completely clean and had everything that we needed during our stay. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the deer that came to visit. We would definitely stay here again!

“Quiet, lovely, spacious - so much more than just a cabin!!” The Acorn Cabin was such a pleasant surprise. We weren't sure what to expect as another member of the family made the plans. It was the perfect place to host our family reunion. John and Linda had everything for family fun including horse shoes, badminton and lawn jarts. They are incredibly friendly, caring and helpful! They know the area well and were full of great suggestions for hiking and biking. The cabin itself is huge! More than enough space to move around. The bedrooms are plenty big and the kitchen is perfect for making meals with everything you could need. And if you can't find it? Linda and John will hook you up! The porches both front and back were our favorite. It rained a few days and the porches were the perfect spot to still enjoy being outside. Loved watching the fire flies at dusk while sipping on a glass of wine. Simply awesome! If you want to get away without getting really far away, this is a great spot. Lots to do and explore. “Can't wait to return” This truly is a great get-a-way. Close to the mountains and Lake Wedowee, it's a perfect retreat. Large enough for a group to share, with all the enmities of home. Comfy beds, full size kitchen, big bubble bath or shower if you prefer. Large dining room table accommodates the whole family with even a high hair for the baby. Lots of comfortable seating for a night of movies. We enjoyed our stay so much at the Chapman house that we are anticipating our next stay. Truly a hidden gem. Kelly Miller- St Petersburg, Fl
