“Spectacular retreat/ rejuvenating!!!” After first discovering this place through family, I have since vacationed her every chance I get with my husband. And now since having a baby we now bring her along as well as the place is right on the beach, the pool is to die for and everything you could ever think of is taken care if for you. The staff, Carla and Marco are a delight if we decided to stay in Carla would make our meals... Marco would keep everything looking just a stunning as when we arrived... The house can be your own retreat or get down and invite your friends and have bob fires on the beach an let loose... Your close enough to walk to Marthas a local restaurant on the beach. If you surf you just have to wake up and walk down the beach to the right... If you need to hit up the locals and get your groove on the little town is just a short trip down the road... With amazing local crafts and restaurants... Boraborracha on a Sunday night is the place to watch some local dancing eat drink and be merry... We've recommended this house to many friends one if which loved it so much he returned and got married there!!! Everyone gets their own villa with their own open air bathroom The "ariba suite" is like living in your own jungle tree house. The "domed" suite has an insane massive open bathroom you can see the ocean from every suite and the hot tub is perfect for that afternoon dip after your surf or horseriding adventure. Can not wait to return with a bunch if friends in March 2011. To celebrate a 40th birthday. If your looking to get a way for a peaceful yoga retreat, surf, wedding or to just mix with some local Mexican culture and do nothing but lounge by the ocean/ pool this is your nirvana. “Oasis in the city!” The anthony Quinn studio was perfect! Clean comfortable and quiet. Lynn was incredibly helpful when I emailed and she was very understanding about my need for some peace and quiet. (I moved from another location in SMa - that was a cacophony!) The view from the roof top deck was nice and the studio, itself, has a very light airy feel. There is some beautiful tile work in the bathrooms and around the fireplace.

“San Fransisco rental” We found this weekly rental to be clean, centrally located and reasonably priced. We used it mostly for sleeping and storage as we explored this bustling, lively town most of the time. It was very central to the many sites and activities offered in the town. For what we needed it was perfect. The photos are accurate. A bonus was hot water without a long wait for it. We enjoyed the view of the lit church steeple from the small kitchen window in the evening.

“Amazing!” Had a wonderful time in San Miguel with my mother and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful apartment. Very creative and comfortable with lots of sun, great views and enjoyed the attached balcony and amazing rooftop terrace. Owners Charlotte and Wolf were very friendly and extremely helpful; the caretakers were great as well. Perfect location, nice neighborhood and convenient to lots of day-to-day needs. Can't wait to go back!

“Stay in friendly comfort and safety.” I have actually stayed at Villa Golondrina several times: twice with my husband and once with a great good friend and traveling companion. In each case we were in the apartment as a base for studying at a nearby Spanish language school to which we could walk. But we also learned the local bus service, and thereby with Jim's recommendations, found many wonderful restaurants all over Cuernavaca. Sometimes we shopped at local markets and prepared our own dinners in the fully stocked apartment kitchen. Taxis are also available with a phone call and are very inexpensive. On each visit we hired a taxi to take us to the nearby market village of Tepoztlan where there is also an ancient pyramid temple to which one can climb to experience fantastic views and the touted positive psychic energies. The apartments are furnished with Mexican style furniture and everything one would want for a home away from home. Jim's houseboy, Pancho, keeps the places spic and span and goes out of his way to accommodate every wish of his guests.

“Great location” We arrived with our old VW camper van on a tow truck. This was a great location for getting our van fixed and exploring the beautiful city of Cuernavaca. We loved our stay here. It was also very easy to bus to other cities such as Tasco or Tepoztlan.
