“Spectacular retreat/ rejuvenating!!!” After first discovering this place through family, I have since vacationed her every chance I get with my husband. And now since having a baby we now bring her along as well as the place is right on the beach, the pool is to die for and everything you could ever think of is taken care if for you. The staff, Carla and Marco are a delight if we decided to stay in Carla would make our meals... Marco would keep everything looking just a stunning as when we arrived... The house can be your own retreat or get down and invite your friends and have bob fires on the beach an let loose... Your close enough to walk to Marthas a local restaurant on the beach. If you surf you just have to wake up and walk down the beach to the right... If you need to hit up the locals and get your groove on the little town is just a short trip down the road... With amazing local crafts and restaurants... Boraborracha on a Sunday night is the place to watch some local dancing eat drink and be merry... We've recommended this house to many friends one if which loved it so much he returned and got married there!!! Everyone gets their own villa with their own open air bathroom The "ariba suite" is like living in your own jungle tree house. The "domed" suite has an insane massive open bathroom you can see the ocean from every suite and the hot tub is perfect for that afternoon dip after your surf or horseriding adventure. Can not wait to return with a bunch if friends in March 2011. To celebrate a 40th birthday. If your looking to get a way for a peaceful yoga retreat, surf, wedding or to just mix with some local Mexican culture and do nothing but lounge by the ocean/ pool this is your nirvana. “Relaxing, near town, comfortable, and taken care of...” Once at the Hda Clemencito, we where met by the caretakers, shown the property, as the bags where taken to our rooms, the home was clean and very comfortable, the staff took care of us like family. The property is large and clean, suited for long walks, tennis, lap pool and jacuzzi. The location was very secure, that insured our privacy. The Chappel was perfect for a marriage ceremony early afternoon on a Sunday. The catering by the staff was wonderful, they used what we bought at the market, and when needed, the staff arranged for the shopping and cooking of desired meals. Breakfast was always on time and delicious, having traditional Mexican dishes, to hot cakes. Several times the staff, prepared dishes for diner, and for a wedding ceremony, the food was great and service was excellent. “Amazing!” Had a wonderful time in San Miguel with my mother and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful apartment. Very creative and comfortable with lots of sun, great views and enjoyed the attached balcony and amazing rooftop terrace. Owners Charlotte and Wolf were very friendly and extremely helpful; the caretakers were great as well. Perfect location, nice neighborhood and convenient to lots of day-to-day needs. Can't wait to go back!

“Magical Views and Perfect Location” My wife and I just spent two terrific months in alice's Palace. Alice was a gracious host and the apartment was comfortable, safe and cleaned five days per week. The location is perfect, with easy access to all the sites in the center and no hills to climb. The outside, covered patio is a great place to relax and spend time or to host get-togethers with your friends. The views from the patio and the apartment windows are spectacular. What makes alice's apartment special is that the views are available from the living spaces and you do not need to climb up onto a roof to enjoy the views. Spend some time here and the magic of San Miguel will work it's spell on you. We wanted to return to alice's Palace next april but someone beat us to it. We will be back.

“I just didn't want to leave!” Staying at Casa Francisco was a delightful experience. My husband and I, both retired, were visiting SMa for the first time and found the casa's location to be most convenient. Easy walk to all parts of town and never a problem finding a taxi for longer trips or for grocery shopping. Some great restaurants nearby. Inside, the ambience is lovely. It's much prettier than the pictures suggest. There's quality furnishings, from a large selection of thick towels and sheets to a newer Cuisinart blender, a large gas stove. and huge refrigerator. Beds felt new, with puffy down covers and down pillows. Everything worked properly, cookware was complete, washer and dryer were great and there's a huge selection of attractive dishes, platters, and cutlery. Bathrooms were very clean, spacious, and well lit, and all the hardware and drains worked perfectly. Gorgeous tile! Large closets with built in deep drawers for each bedroom. Great cross breezes from the open French doors in upstairs rooms. Nice office area for computing. We visited in early March and never used the fireplaces. Romantic evening lighting in the courtyard. Views from the rooftop deck were beautiful. Walt was helpful and professional, and he accommodated for our late night arrival. It was a pleasure to work with him. The house keeper worked twice a week and was prompt and thorough. There were absolutely no flaws in our stay at Casa Francisco, except having to pack up and leave!
