“Amazing get away!!” This house is beautiful!! The view is incredible and the amount of space throughout the entire house is awesome!! My friends and I stayed here for a weekend away and got just that! While the cell service is pretty bad, it allowed us to spend time together and enjoy nature! There was plenty of space for everyone! Donald took care of everything, even providing the house with basic necessities that some of my group forgot! Donald replies very fast to your questions and concerns!! Overall, an amazing trip and a beautiful house!

“Perfect Getaway in the Poconos” We had a lovely time staying in your condo over the Christmas break. It was our first time skiing and snowboarding and we had a lot of fun tumbling down the mountain. It was great to come back to the condo to relax and nurse our aches and pains with a hot chocolate in front the fire. The condo was perfect - it felt like home - very comfortable and beautifully situated on the lake and with views of Big Boulder mountain from the balcony. Joanne was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. We are looking forward to coming back in summer! Highly recommended.

“Great Vacation Home” Just went for two days for the kids mid-winter vacation. The place was lovely. It was very clean and well organized. The beautiful wood and great fireplace created a warm charming atmosphere. Great size bedrooms. Mark was just wonderful to deal with. He was flexible and his instructions for the use of everyting was very clear. We had a large group and found it very comfortable. We would highly recommend it.

“awesome beautiful place” I can't say enough about this. Place, perfect I guess Serene, peaceful,beautiful, quiet. Djuna the owner is Sweet and very efficient and provides every detail. “A great get away weekend” My family visited Cooperstown in Oct. of 2009 and stayed in this wonderful house. The location was great: it wasn't too far of a drive into downtown Cooperstown and all the attractions but far enough out of town to enjoy the peacefulness of the surrounding area. This property was well kept and has water access to the beautiful lake just across the street. The views of the lake and the surrounding woods can be seen from almost every room of the house; I especially loved the rooms in the front of the house which were all windows and you could enjoy the amazing views while eating meals. This house contained an amazing kitchen (newly renovated it seemed) and bathrooms while keeping with the charm and style of the area and surrounding houses. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning soon hopefully.

“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Home Away from Home Only Better” We love this house. It is so warm and cozy. As soon as you step in, you feel right at home. There is plenty of room and open space. The fireplace and living room are incredibly tranquil. There is plenty of sleeping space and bathroom space. The bathrooms are updated and nice and clean. I love the that you don't feel on top of one another. The decor is warm. The views are incredible. We can only imagine how it will be in the summer with the Lake. I can't wait to come back. “Best house ever” The house is in a beautiful setting. So many things to do in the area from antique shopping, golf in the summer, winter skiing, hiking, really great restaurants. Once you've seen the house though, you won't want to leave. Great layout for families, group of friends, special occasions or just getting away to a special place. everything is provided for your stay. “Beautiful! Relaxing! Perfect!” I spent 4th of July weekend with a group of friends at this wonderful mountain retreat, and it was all that we wished and more!! The views are spectacular, the private pond and the mountains added so much to our stay. It was like being on a private resort...the home had everything we needed to have fun and enjoy this long summer weekend, and we are already planning to return next year. “Terrific Rental in Windham” This is a great rental property. The house is very well maintained and comes complete with everything you need for your visit. This includes the kitchen where many other rental properties offer sparse and/or low quality utensils, plates, etc. Angel has literally thought of everything and organized the property to make your stay enjoyable. Also, the hot tub has very potent jets which was nice for a bunch of middle aged golfers after a long day on the course. Angel was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire rental process. If you are coming to Windham you will be hard pressed to find a nicer property.
