“Awesome Cabin!!” My husband and I rented this property for the July 4th weekend. His sister and her husband traveled with us. At first we thought we were going to the end of the Earth, but after finding the cabin we were all very pleased. It was very nice! Clean, spacious, and private. Giving each couple their own bedroom and bathroom. Best of all, Liz, is an amazing hostess, checking in with us daily to be sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this cabin for a nice relaxing weekend.

“Worth It!!!” Our family stayed at Westgate Lakes for one week during Spring Break. We had a four bedroom condo and the space was fabulous!!! We were more than impressed with the resort staff and all the ammenities. The location was also very excellent and so easy to find and so close to the attractions we wanted to visited. The resort was very clean in all areas and very safe and secure for our family.

“Great cozy home away from home.” We stayed in the Orleans bungalo apartment on July 15-18. It felt like we were at home. The apartment had lots of character and charm. Loved sitting outside on the terrace watching the free entertainment across the street , was it called the ship wrecked bar? I especially loved beiing able to go to the back alley and washing clothes. (I hope it belonged to the cottages property, if not then oops!) We utilized the kitchen and the gas grill out back on the patio.Everything was great and this cottage had plenty of space for two families. We met my cousins from Texas in Flordia for a vaca. We drove from Oklahoma. The flat screens worked great. I have no complaints about this place. I just want to say to all you all snotty people leaving negative comments.... Quit complaining or find somewhere else to stay. What exactly do you think you are getting when you hear the word "cottages" it's not going to have a bell hop and a maid that cleans up your messes daily. Maybe some of you never lived in 100 year old homes and only used to a lavish lifestyle. Obviously you spent your time in doors. not us we were at the beach the majority of the day until almost 9pm every night. I enjoyed my stay there. It was a good 3 day stay for us despite the rainy weather. Yet we still had fun.

“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Awesome-perfect in every way” We cannot say enough possitive things about this home and the hosts. We have come to Tarpon for 30 years but this is the first time we ve used flipkey and we will only use flipkey from now on. From the welcoming hug to the perfect ammenities throughout, you could not beat this offering. Location is beautiful and perfect to access anything. The hosts were so nice and they had paid attention to so many details, we were overwhelmed. They had lots of suggestions and a great notebook filled with menus and things to do. Plus hints on specials, fishing and the area. As we ended our trip they even greeted us with a weather report--there was a storm headed our way. Thank you both for making sure this was the best time we ve ever had in this, our favorite, Florida location.
