“Relaxing but also fascinating experience” Lovely owners who were very friendly and gave us a fascinating insight into the Sicilian way of life. The apartment was spacious and in a great position. The villa is close to town but has a great view of the sea and an amazing mausoleum, which I painted. The towns people were very friendly and I was amazed that Western Sicily had so many interesting historical places to see

“A great place for your holiday!” The house was really nice and clean. It is just in front of the sea (400mt on foot)and you can always enjoy a gentle breeze. The owners are very kind and hospitable so you feel like you are part of a big family! Castellammare is a great place to stay for your holidays. You can find a lot of nice restaurants, bars and shops and the sea is absolutely amazing!You can easily reach a lot of beautiful places like San Vito lo Capo, Scopello, Riserva dello Zingaro, Segesta and also Palermo, Monreale, Favignana and Marettimo.

Villa Del Golfo -What a view! Ideal vacation spot!
Wonderful holiday for a family

We booked for a week in august. It was a great pleasure to be there. The villa very spacious and comfortable with a great view of the sea, we were 15, and Paola the owner and her son Sergio were lovely and we enjoyed a lot their nice welcoming and their availability. The location was also very good. Excellent amenities with very good Wireless internet everywere in the villa. We highly recommand this welcoming and wonderful villa. … see more

A lovely property in the perfect location

I was looking for somewhere to stay in Sicily and was so lucky to have found this property. The interior is comfortable with everything you need, as well as being tastefully decorated and a beautiful veranda to sit out in the evening. The location is amazing, just a few minutes walk down the road and we were on the beach, perfect for the kids and safe too. Highly recommended! … see more
Apartment in Calatafimi Segesta, Sicily, Italy
Delightful mountain village/city condo, we loved Calatafimi.

The mountain city/village of Calatafimi-Segesta is historic in nature yet with modern attributes. We stayed for 3 plus weeks and enjoyed every day. The baker, butcher, grocer and every other small family store imaginable are available within a few minutes walk. If you stay you will experience the pleasures of a time past of old Sicilia. We watched olives being harvested and pressed into oil, visited locals homes and had pranzo e cinare with friendly locals on several occasions. We were invited for café after church by locals we hadn't even met. We visited the local home of a Sicilian us retiree and had canoles after a drink in a local bar, What fun.. Touring the city is tremendous fun as it lacks the hustle of large cities, it is a photographers dream come true. The vistas are marvelous and the locals extremely interesting. We have traveled the world over and this is one of our favorite places. Don't expect every amenity of life in america to be at your beck and call...be willing to explore and engage. The condo is well appointed for the casual traveler, everything works and help is just a phone call away. Suggested is a functional level of Italian language. You have to do for yourself here... no maid service which is fine for us. You go to the local stores for food and vino... you cook for yourself...you are living as the Italians do, a great cultural awareness experience. Local transportation is available to Polermo, Alcomo, Trapini, and beaches and all points in Sicilia, buses are on time,clean and inexpensive, we use local transport all over Italy. This condo is a great central location for car or bus travel all over Sicilia. You can really see and experience Sicilia from here. I recommend at least a week or two here to really have a good absorption and appreciation of the culture. If you are not able to walk up hills and down hills then this place is not for you...but then neither is most of Sicily. We plan to return for an even longer stay. … see more

Great place and great host

We stayed for an Easter week in april 2014. The host, Giuseppe, was great - he met us in Scopello so that we wouldnt have problems finding the house. In the house, which is fully equipped, there waited a delicious meal, which Giuseppe prepared for us, two bottles of wine, bread, fruits and lots of water - so we didnt have to worry to shop in the evening. Very considerate and kind, and was greatly appreciated. Guiseppe lives in Palermo so we had the house all by ourselves. The views from the house are truly astonishing, waking up to the 180 degrees view of the sea is amasing. You will need a car to get around, it takes about 5 min to drive to the beach in Scopello. Palermo and Trapani is about 45 min. There are several nice restaurants in Scopello, but the village is not big. The local market sells local vegetables and meats, which are great. Overall, we had a great stay - very relaxing, great food, good weather and beautiful surrondings. We would love to return! … see more
