the house is a typical cottage situated on a hill that dominate the all cost from Castellammare to San Vito lo capo: the beauty of the landscape,that you see from the house, is just unique.The cottage is indipendent, there are no houses next door so privacy is respected; it has large open spaces where children can play safely. the house is surrounded by very nice garden equiped with all you need for relax: take your shower coming back from the seaside and even cook outside,wood-burning oven and barbecue under a bower,the house inside consists of Kitchen,dining-room with fireplace corner,tv satellite,and retired spot to relax,two bedrooms one with two single beds the other one with one single bed;2 Bathrooms 1)wc with shower - Toilet, Bidet, Shower 2)toilette - Toilet, Sink in 2nd bathroom also used as a laundry there is a large sink for washing clothes by hand. Outdoor Shower furniture and fitting are in a rustic-etnic style.the owner provides his guests with a stocked pantry: pasta, olive oil of the house, coffee, thè.latte, cookies, potion, detergents and all the basic necessities.

Response from the owner Questa recensione negativa era giá preannunciata e neanche, come dice il cliente " la bellezza del posto e l'accoglienza a loro riservata" hanno potuto mitigare in parte la loro delusione. La sera del loro arrivo( alle 21) accolgo i clienti, come consuetudine, con una lauta cena, vini, frutta e dolci , e a causa dell'orario e dell'impossibilità di andare a fare la spesa nell'unico Market , mi premuro di far trovare loro una dispensa fornita con : pasta, olio, latte, thè, biscotti, conserve, detersivi e tanto altro che sarebbe lungo da elencare; non mi aspettavo certo una standing ovation che di solito i miei ospiti, per lo più stranieri, mi riservano, ma tra Italiani , specificamente Campani, mi sarei aspettato anche io una accoglienza più calorosa. Tarda serata ricevo una telefonata da parte del cliente , in cui lamentava una pulizia poco accurata, dopo che aveva visto una " mensola in cui sono posizionati i CD-ROM "impolverata , e chiude la conversazione, perché stanco del lungo viaggio, ribadendo la sua delusione. La telefonata mi ha sorpreso e amareggiato , decido quindi, per non arrecare disturbo, di inviarle un sms in cui le preavviso per l'indomani (Domenica) una visita assieme alla responsabile delle pulizie, per verificare e risolvere il problema. L'indomani ricevo un sms da parte del cliente in cui mi comunica di non andare a casa e che " avrei potuto verificare il problema non appena loro fossero andati via". Ha alzato un muro che è durato per tutto il loro soggiorno, 5 giorni, lasciandomi l'amaro in bocca per non avere avuto la possibilità di verificare, chiarire e risolvere il problema. Lo farò adesso non avendone avuto prima la possibilità , per chiarire che: 1) ho potuto verificare subito dopo la loro partenza la pulizia della casa e delle mensole, avendone certezza assoluta della loro pulizia prima del loro arrivo, ebbene non ho notato nessun problema, se non una leggera polvere , fisiologica dopo 5 giorni e con vento di scirocco , che inevitabilmente fa entrare polvere dentro casa, specialmente se le finestre sono sempre aperte. ( Ricordo che il contesto è quello di aperta campagna con molti alberi, e non quello asettico di casa di città ). 2) L'odore che esce soltanto dalla tubatura della doccia è semplicemente evitabile, l'avevo ribadito al cliente al momento del loro insediamento, inserendo un semplice tappo , molto utile specialmente nei giorni di scirocco nei quali l'odore, succede anche nelle case di città,per lo meno ,quelle costiere, a causa del forte vento è più fastidioso. Un semplice tappo risolve il problema. 3) Consiglio di non gettare carta e assorbenti nel WC in quanto ,a causa della mancanza di rete fognaria a Scopello, le case sono dotate di fosse biologiche imhoff a dispersione, i liquidi si disperdono, i solidi per un processo biologico si liquefanno; la carta e gli assorbenti non subiscono lo stesso processo biologico dei solidi ,rimanendo dentro la fossa , la intasano. Ció comporta il dover spurgare la fossa con costi notevoli. Grazie tuttavia per la recensione che mi ha permesso di chiarire alcuni punti tecnici importanti. Rassicuro i miei precedenti ospiti e quelli futuri che il mio standard rimarrà sempre alto e che questo incidente di percorso, il primo, mi spronerà a fare sempre meglio. Ai clienti attuali posso dire che sono dispiaciuto per il loro disagio , che è stato anche il mio,ma che se mi avessero dato occasione di spiegare, il tutto si poteva smorzare e risolvere probabilmente.
